+Дневники Бродяги (Походы сплавы туризм) Thanks for the comment and watching our video! Had to use Google translation however. Have fun paddling the P&H Delphin! It's a very good all-round sea kayak that comes to life in the surf zone! Cheers! Dimitri
Hi Klaus! Thank you for the compliment! Yes, in the beginning we were afraid of this "going over the top manouvre". Now we are trying to perform a pop-out!! It's great fun if the water is deep enough, and it gives a lot of adrenaline! :-) Cheers, Dimitri
Hi Dimitri, fantastic video ofcourse and well done with that waves. Can you tell me as also asked before the advantage of the VE paddle and the type you use? is it a VE Explorer Aircore Pro Carbon Blade on a 2-piece Carbon Straight Shaft. Also pleace specify the length that works for you and the blade size. Thank you in advance.
Hello Daniël, We use the VE Explorer (both one and two piece) with the medium or large blade. Lenght, blade size and feather are personal, but I use 2m10 or less. Hope this helps, let me know if you have other questions. Cheers!😊👍
The sea must have been quite pushy, forced you to roll several times. Very nice footage! Could you say a word about the VE paddle; what aspect makes you so happy with it?
I am debating buying a P&H Cetus vs. the Scorpio. I would love to know your opinion on both. I understand the material differences, but I would really like to know which you would buy if you had to choose. Thank you for your time.
Hi Derrick, Both are very good boats, probably the best polyetylene sea kayaks for sale. The question that you should ask yourself is wether you want to play around a lot in the surf and do trips every now and then.... or you want to do a lot of trips and a surfession every now and then. If (longer) trips are your goal I would advise the Scorpio. Tracks very well, good speed also and you will enjoy it in the surf. The Delphin on the other hand really comes to life in the surfzone and in the rougher stuff. You can use it also to make trips, but it's a bit slower (but more manouvrable). We tested things out and on flat water there's a difference of 1 km/h in speed (the Scorpio being the faster boat). I hope this helps? Whatever you chose, I wish you lots of fun on the water! Cheers, Dimitri
Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I love your videos...they are extremely helpful and inspirational. I have moved to Prince Rupert B.C Canada. It is a kayaking paradise.

Yes, it sure was! There aren't many days with waves like that. Cheers, Dimitri
The video is great. The audio is not. Probably a matter of taste. I hate it.
Thank you!! Music is indeed personal ....
