I love that Julia and Britt are in Vixen. Great vocals and of course lovely Roxy the drumming powerhouse. I’m so glad they keep rocking and hope they continue for years to come
Love these gals, a truly great band from my youth! So many summer nights spent rocking out with friends and Vixen were definitely in heavy rotation. Great to see them still having a blast
That's awesome they are still rocking after all these years. I was 18 years old in 1988, when they released Vixen, and thought it was great women broke into the rock scene like they did. I'd have to say, they are just as beautiful and rock just as hard today as they did in 88.
I got to see them way back opening for Kiss with Winger. It was right when they were getting big and they looked straight off the video. 🔥 Fortunate enough to see them again in the early 2010’s. My friends gave me shit about buying their album back in the day. It wasn’t “real metal” they said… until I busted every one of them with the very same cassette in THEIR collections! 🤣🔥🤘🏻
Sounding very good , true its not the original member , but we should thanks these ladies for keeping the spirt going . The harmonies are somewhat different , but I like them just as much , a very different sounding voice is mixed in , but very cool . All these ladies been around the business for years , Very cool musicians
@@badmonkey2222 So what does that mean . I said I understand its not the originals , but we should thank Roxy and the women she recruited Lorrain been around since the 80's she along with Britt are long time professional , the best in the business . This is also a tribute to Vixen's founder the beautiful Jan Kuehnemund who I bet is smiling down on them . Don't get me wrong I heard the original band several times . To be honest I only was interested because they were such hot girl and as they gotten older and even hotter , but I was knocked out how great they sounded , they all did really good solo's Janet could sing , Roxy sounded awesome and Share and Jan are amazing guitar players and also great harmonies . I been in the hard rock business since 1967 I toured with Edgar Winter , David Bowie , Humble Pie , Free , Jeff Beck to name a few . Back in the day I would put Vixen on the bill with anybody and they will rock the crowd . So usually I am not into bands like Journey , Foreigner , and all the hair band that are performing with one original or no original member , but with Vixen Its just a tribute to Jan who started it all .
@@camlee2341 Well considering that Roxy the drummer is the only original member they sound dam close . This is Vixen its not a tribute although Roxy started again with Share , and Janet as a tribute to founder Jan Kuehnemund RIP These newer girls been in the business along time , they are seasoned professionals , I kind of like the different sounding voices in the harmonies , its different then we remember , but still good . If the original girls played today they would sound different then they did in the 80's . I would put the show Vixen did at Daytona Beach in 1989 up against any hair band of the 80's and Vixen would have blown them off the stage both singing and playing and of course they were looking HOT AS Hell ( today the original band is still hot Janet Gardner and Share , Lorrain , Britt and the new bass player are very hot also . So bands sound different with age Vince Neal , Brett Michaels , Steve Perry or Steven Tyler sound much different today then they did in the 80's also This is Vixen today
I remember watching them open up for Ozzy in 1989. Share and Roxxi did amazing solos live. Not sure why there was no guitar solo? They opened up with Cruisin’ and had a quick but killer set list!
I cant believe that these gals are about 10 years older than me and I listened to their first albums but they age so well they could eat me like I was a snack. Damn. Thank God for women, huh guys?
i don't know, in today's sick society, it's hard to tell if a woman is actually a real woman. i mean, you go home with a barbie doll, thinking to yourself you're the luckiest guy in the world, then you wake next to a wolverine.
Only the drummer left from the original Vixen lineup. Sadly, this is just a cover band playing a Vixen set. Lorraine Lewis (formerly Femme Fatale) is struggling here.
especially Mostly Food, i mean, Motley Crue. the music sounds awesome but the lead vocal, should stay retire. its more pleasing to the ear listening to a Japanese karaoke then Vince Meal.
I think it is still very cool thry still can rock i agree the original members are always best but thus is what keeps the music rocking ..rock an roll for ever
This isn’t. Vixen it. Isn’t the same without Janet. Jan. I can’t remember who the other gutarist name was. Anyway these New lady’s stink the only good one left is Roxy
@Mike Flavin the original bassist is still alive. The original bassist was Pia Vai, Steve Vai's wife, she was replaced by Share Ross (then Pedersen) before they were signed. Share left the band last year, she didn't say she was retiring from music, just stepping away from Vixen for the time being leaving the door open for a return in the future. It's Share you see running out at around the 3m 23sec on the video and helping out on backing vocals on the chorus after the guitar solo. It was the original guitarist and founder of the band Jan who died from cancer a few years ago, however the original band had already decided to re-form before she unfortunately passed away. Janet Gardiner the original singer, also has not retired from music, she has a solo career and has put out a couple of solo albums.
only roxy is a orig, loved the orig line up RIP jan ,,,that singer look really old just a lot of plastic surgery done ,,these guy are definitely not vixon
Sorry but it’s nowhere as good as the original line up. With Roxxi the only original band member it’s now just a Vixen cover band for me. Time to let go I think.

The greatest all girl rock band in history I’m my opinion anyways
That's awesome they are still rocking after all these years. I was 18 years old in 1988, when they released Vixen, and thought it was great women broke into the rock scene like they did. I'd have to say, they are just as beautiful and rock just as hard today as they did in 88.
Idiot! Roxy's the only remaining member.

Share Ross cameo at the end.

Keep on rocking vixen sounds great
Britt is great! ^^
Great post 🤘
It's like watching your drunk aunt do karaoke. :P Roxy is still killing it tho & at least they're actually playing.
現メンバー、文句の付けようがない。
ただ、ジャン・ジャネット・シェアが居ないのはもうVIXENと呼べるかどうか…
でも👍は押しとくな、ロキシー。
Brit lightning is an amazing guitarist
the good old Stuff,i Love it

Wow a blast from my past😍
when soccor moms get the band back together perfect

Roxy is the only original member !!

Parabéns está banda

wow..... this is pretty rough
Yep definitely a difference between playing live and what you hear on an album !
Ouch. That chorus was painful.
😍
I stopped keeping up with “Vixen” years ago. It seemed like every new reincarnation of the band was just sadder than the last.
The drummer Roxy is still the original drummer
the bass player looks like Richie Kotzens wife
She is or was!!
The band I’m seeing now is just a decent tribute band with only Roxie the one original member
best leave some things in the past
especially Mostly Food, i mean, Motley Crue. the music sounds awesome but the lead vocal, should stay retire. its more pleasing to the ear listening to a Japanese karaoke then Vince Meal.
The singer is an og vixen too
😆👍👍👍👍👍
This is not Vixen. Roxy the drummer is the only original member. They are at best a tribute band to vixen with the original drummer.🙄
I remember seeing them in 1989, and the sound is nothing like this. Oh, how the mighty have fallen
With only one original member it doesn't seem right that Vixen still out there. Especially now that Jan has passed away
I think it is still very cool thry still can rock i agree the original members are always best but thus is what keeps the music rocking ..rock an roll for ever
It keeps the music alive and both the band and the audience seem to enjoy it
💖😘😘😘😘😘💫👏👏👏👏💪😘😘😘
The lead singer is from femme fatale thats not roxy on drums so who is left
Look again it is Roxy
This isn’t. Vixen it. Isn’t the same without Janet. Jan. I can’t remember who the other gutarist name was. Anyway these New lady’s stink the only good one left is Roxy
Vixen only had one guitar player
How can they call themselves "vixen"? This is more of a tribute band that got lucky by having a real vixen play drums for them
The original bassist asked Roxy to go out as Vixen shortly before she died of cancer. The original singer and guitarist both retired from music

Because that's how it works now...Fans are more into nostalgia than realism.
@@landslug the original GUITARIST Jan died of cancer...not the bassist..the bassist and singer are retired from Vixen at least.
I'm not impressed with these girls. I appreciate the fact they are continuing the 80's all girl band.

Молодцы - красавицы
Жаль мне вас американцы🤣
Вокалистку в утиль!-не вытягивает ничего!
Oh dear that's rough terrible mixing and the vocals are appalling
Oh my goodness the new singer is way out of key and has no range. I was hopeful but this is sad
This sounds like a horrible Vixen cover band. The vocals were almost painful to listen to. I'm hoping the lead singer was drunk during this....
yeah it's pretty bad
Oh damn they can NOT sing anymore lol ha ha ha
This is a cover band. To any singers out there never sit down on stage
maybe she's a big fan of steven seagal...he sits down and do all his fighting, even his um, sex scene, so the singer here decided to do the same.
Make you right,at least try to look like your enjoying it! I loved Vixen back in the 80s but this really is just a tribute band now.
🤘😆🤘🔥
