That’s so cool i didn’t even know i could use that antenna plug to connect two consoles without constantly needing to unplug and plug one in to the other, i have a RF only crt so i thought i could only connect one thing at a time, so i should be able to play all three of my consoles without unplugging anything if i get a second plug so i can use my GameCube without switching the plug, thanks for explaining that now i can at least play my snes and n64 without needing to constantly change the RF port to the consoles
my sens turns on-so the power source works, but the picture does not come on. I make sure to turn my tv to antenna channel, but the game does not appear on the screen. What could be the problem?
Thank you so much! I bought the Gana HDMI converter when all I needed to do was connect the colors on the back of the tv correctly. I wish I would of saw this video first
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! Ya video was easy and straight to the point and different ways to do it, other videos weren't as straightforward, and now I can play my game.
I think showing different ways is important! A lot of tutorials I see are like “this is the best way to do it” and I’m like “WHAT IF I CAN’T DO IT THAT WAY, HM”
Help! I am using the av cable. I have cleaned all the contacts and the cartridge. Power light is on. av cables are in the corresponding color ports on the tv. tv input options are "TV, AV, YPbPr, HDMI, media, and PC". I have tried all of them and nothing works (no audio, no video, just says "no signal" on a blue screen). What would be the problem?
I would think TV should be the correct input; if you have an old VCR that you can connect your AV to that might be the best roundabout fix. Just need another cable to connect from vcr to antenna on the back of your tv.
The back of my Roku only has a yellow and black holes. Can’t get to to work, also tried using cable and could not find channel 3 on my Roku, please help
I have a samsung smart tv, it has no channel 3 or 4. I did hook it up to the coaxial and my nintendo's red light comes on. but how to i get the game to come on the screen?
Great video!! So i got this thing on Amazon called 8-Way AV Switch RCA Switcher 8 in 1 Out Composite Video L/R Audio Selector Box for DVD STB Game Consoles & it doesn’t work or I’m just not following the directions right but i have a modern 2021 Samsung tv. Do you think those work? Amazon had 4.5 star review on them. I’m just trying to make it work before i return it 😭
Thanks brother. My tv was mounted to the wall and I couldn't see the av colors and the manual didn't have anything in it. Mine just happened to be in the same order and worked!!
I have a new Samsung TV and tried hooking the Super Nintendo up to the antenna plug with the RF hookup and put the tv on channel 3. It’s also on 3 on the back of the box but it didn’t find the source, Not sure if I’m missing a step or it just won’t work on that tv.
@@thecollegepicker it did work with the 3 patch cords on an old tv in the basement. We tried on a Roku smart tv that allows the 3 patch cords and it didn’t work that way or with the RF thing. On the Samsung start tv the only option is the RF and it didn’t work. On both tvs we tried going to a new source input but it couldn’t find a signal.
Hi, I have 2 x Super Nes consoles each with all cables - model no SNSP-001A, I can get power to the consoles but can’t ever get a picture in order to actually play anything, I’m sceptical about the possibility that all my cables & each console could be faulty, any advice please? Thanks
@@thecollegepicker Sure, I’ll give that a go, thanks… Most of the cables I have with the consoles are the originals though I also have several newer cables I’ve purchased over the years that claimed to to get this console working on a modern tv & I’ve only ever tried to connect to 1 particular tv.
I tried both The antenna cable and with and hdmi converter, and both my Philips smart tv just wont work with The super nintendo, i got power on it but The tvs just cant find The source 😔
So in just tried to hook up my old SNES and the game shows but like 3 seconds later the tv does that squiggly black and white thing then the games comes back on and again the weird screen. I don't know if its a TV issue, cable issue or console/cartridge issue. I tried unplugging the console and blowing the cartridge and still the same issue. I think mines just said nope im done and retired :(
So I got everything working, all of the cables connected correctly and tight, but as soon as I go on to component and switch the game on, it comes up and saids “ unsupported mode” someone help
My screen says Mode Not Supported. The resolution is not supported on this TV. Please change the resolution. I tried this and can’t figure it out. Help!
I have a problem - the sound isn’t being outputted on my SNES anymore. It was working before, only like a year ago, so something happened, and I don’t know what Does anyone know a solution?
@@thecollegepicker Good idea , I'll try a diff unit and see if that helps. Do those just go bad from time to time? I thought it might have been the TV- But I tried it on about 3 tvs and same result.
I know this is very late, but does anyone else have problems saving their progress? I press the reset button and the games save, then i go to load the game file to play, and it goes black. Any help would be appreciated
On a two plug in TV, yellow, white, is incorrect, it has to be red, yellow working your way from left to right. Never assume if you don't have that type of TV, and worst of all, never relay your wrong assumption to a wider audience.
Was able to figure it out for my mom using your video!! Now she doesn’t sleep and is spending her retirement playing super Mario all stars 😂😂😂
A fine choice
