@@MarkWalmsley I used to have to listen multiple times to his videos because it’s such deep information. The slower cadence helps me, but even still I sometimes have to rewind and re-listen; like my brain isn’t always up to speed with the concepts.
@@desertrosecollection yeah I think that is certainly part of it. Although I definitely require speech to be a bit faster to really take things in.

Need to research videos on headspacing. Utilizing these techniques allows more proportionate framing.

Simply moving closer to the camera, which will create a better framing ratio, and will allow your facial features to be recognized better. This also create a more “personalized effect”
Great video as usual, Joseph. Thank you for highlighting confirmation bias. That term was coined by the social psychologist, Leon Festinger, within a theory called the "Cognitive Dissonance Theory". Totally explains how neuroscience and psychology is related to all of this. BTW - I too was recently contemplating getting a house plant for my window, as I feel deeply grateful for nature...now I definitely will!

Now I umderstand. The reason to break free from the matrix is to be able to sell something to clients. It all makes sense now.
You clearly have not been a student of Joseph’s for any length of time.
His true message is to live a life of love: be loving, do what you love, etc. AND he is a trainer for entrepreneurs, so all of his teaching circles back to that, hence the selling stuff part. He’s talking to us entrepreneurs, and he always emphasizes to be a good and kind and loving human

The illusion of selling disappears when we perceive energy exchanging. The judgements we have of selling and money and wealth are transmuted once we awaken to the truth of energy and influence. There are times we give and times we receive. There are times we buy and times we sell. Underneath these material terms energy is being exchanged. When you contribute value, you receive joy. The word selling can also be used to communicate influencing an idea (he sold me on the idea of taking more naps). The goal may not be to break free of the world but rather to play with how we perceive the world. The way we perceive filters out certain external stimuli/energy. Focus is powerful. It’s easy to shame ourselves for desiring wealth, comfort, etc. and praise being a philanthropist. The irony is that if we desire to be helpful to our world our mindset must accept energy exchange flows. The most influential, powerful people making decisions that impact your life directly perceive selling as flowing. Would you rather give and receive energy working for them or working for yourself? The philanthropists who contribute the most energy are those who worked for themselves and provided value.
