I saw it with my own eyes and I still cannot believe how many butterflies you have! I'm getting so much inspiration from this folio for my Ancestors' BIrthdays Calendar. I need to make 7 of them!
I found myself procrastinating on starting a project. I thought I had to come up with a unique and interesting new method and/or idea before I could start. (Realistically, who made that rule?...me). I recently realized there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel. If I see something I like I can copy that. Then copy another and then another until I have composed an entire piece. I am using my own choices and ephemera I like. To top it off I am brand new at this craft and I need to copy to learn the basics. I felt such relief when I realized I don’t have to make anything perfectly or all planned out before I begin. How much joy have I robbed myself of over the years? I am 64 years old for heaven sake. No more!!! Thanks Gail for always encouraging to make each project my own.
Good morning Gayle. This is the first day of my Easter holidays and I like to start it with a cup of tea and YOU. I hope to find much time to craft because of the garden needs a “springclean” and my house too ;-)) but all step by step. Now it’s Gayle-Time. Enjoy your day, hugs Sabine.
Watching videos with grandkids wanting to craft around may be as difficult as making them. I'm playing catch up. I love watching you make ephemera, everything always comes out so nice. Tfs
I really do love watching your videos. You are so talented and funny, but in a good way. I wanted to tell you, that you can use Art Glitter Glue on everything, even fabric. When I moved here I met Chelle Rattcliffe on the UA-cam and as we got to talking, I asked her about the smell of Art Glitter Glue. I have a problem with odors. She said it smelled like Elmer's glue. Well at the time, I was using Fabri-tac, and the oder was driving me crazy. Chelle said, she uses Art Glitter Glue on everything, paper and fabric. Guess what, it works great! It works on everything!!! I'm 66 yrs. old. I'm not some beginner working with crafts. I have found junk journals so very fun to work with. Chelle and you are great teachers. I'm especially enjoying this folio series. If you talk to Chelle she will tell you how good Art Glitter Glue works. Then you won't have to put up with the volcano. Lol
What can I say that all your sweet subbies that have already commented before me hasn't said? I must agree with all of them, and I think what is most wonderful about you and your videos is that you are such an amusing, happy, funny sweetheart of a crafter PLUS....as an added BIG bonus, you are also such an amazing and talented crafter too!!! All in one delightful visit!!! You Would brighten up the gloomiest person on earth with your charming, positive personality!!! HUGS my new friend!!!!
Loving this. Thanks for sharing all the good and oops parts. I feel like we all learn more from someone like you who shows us everything weather it turns out like we wanted it to or not. Your always turn out wonderful
LOL! I use the floor too. Especially since the flood (still have the house under construction), I have a little nest with the floor, table and piles all around me while I work. :)
i love watching your videos!! Also, I am thinking I will make one of these with a wedding or love theme to put thank you cards, envelopes and postage stamps in to give my daughter's friend who is getting married. I think she will love it. Thanks to you and Emily for the inspiration :)
My pain wasn’t too bad this morning, I was able to start one of these. I’m really excited, I got as far as your part 1 video. I used wallpaper instead of fabric for the spine cover. I know it will take me awhile to make the ephemera, but I’m having fun! 😁💜👍🏻
I realize this is an older video, but I can see how fun it would be to try to replicate this project with what you (or I) have on hand. I'm new to JJ, but I have been bitten by the bug and want to try something. Thanks for taking us on this journey what th you.
I am loving this series, don’t mind how many episodes you end up doing, the more the better. It’s great to get your teeth into a project. Love it and you! . TFS. 😻
I was anxious to get started after watching your video. Rummaging through my paper stash I found the remnants of country/farmhouse paper and decided to make a recipe journal. I made my spine a little wider so I could add a couple of signatures. Can hardly wait to get back to it. When you laugh at yourself, we're laughing with you. You are a wonderful addition to my day.
This reminds me of my scrapbooking days. I used to make myself page kits to take to crops by tearing layouts I liked out of scrapbooking magazines and then trying to gather similar items from my stash to complete the layout. That was almost more fun than actually doing the project! I love how yours turned out!
‘Gayle, u r a rockstar girl! I mentioned before that I am pretty much home bound with my elderly mom. Your videos are not only a distraction but an instruction and inspiration!!! I’m making journals! Thank you!!
I am obviously watching all of your older videos to catch up on all of them. I giggled when you said you were going to put your stuff on the floor. I can’t do that in my room because we have three cats and one of them is a thief. Lol. I have to watch her with ink daubers. She likes to run off with them. Our dogs have gotten to where they stop her from hiding them. Lol
I love this idea Gayle! I made the folio last night and am going to try and make some of the embellishments and ephemera tonight. I'm a new subscriber. 🤗🤗❤️
I tell myself that "I crack me up", haha. I need to get me one of those magic little boxes that seem almost empty, but always seems to have just the right word that you're looking for! X
Love all these pretty things you created. Just take a lid from an empty bottle and unscrew on the broke one and replace it. WOW! Your sticker collection is amazing. 💕Love all the fun things you have to play with. Awesome! 🤗🌸🤗
Gayle, you are so inspiring to watch as you create these beautiful journals. I watch videos Afro hours at a time so finally about 2 weeks ago I finally started my first journal. It is vintage romance at its best and I am hooked. I would like to send a package to you how can I get it there?
This is great, it's almost like an ephemera journal, I'm gonna try this one. Always such fun watching and crafting with you, the laughs are fun too lol
I have finally caught up!! I thought with your time away I would have caught up sooner but you’ve just been chuggin’ along- even with your busy schedule 🙂!! I’m loving this folio - can’t wait to try it, but been busy the last couple days organizing my JJ stuff. Thanks for keeping me company during that task, you’re quite enjoyable!! 🙂🌸
Gayle, I can't find the bag. I've searched Hobby and Ebay, Amazon, you name I've searched it. Maybe I'm searching using the wrong words. I loved this episode. The tags are great!
So much fun watching you work on this project! Do you happen to remember where you got the vellum flower stickers? It looked like Chinese or Japanese writing on the package. Thanks!
Yes where did you get those flower stickers ❤️ ‘em. And I agree no days right without Gayle. O and I love the layered butterfly...looks good. Glue sabotage Just saying Hugs
I had that happen to my glue bottle months back, but I was able to use it until it was empty. I couldn't believe that most of the top was split, and that I was able to continue using it without it creating a mess.
Gayle... thank you for all the effort and love you put in to making your crafts and videos. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🌹🦋❤️🦄

I too had a fabri-tac top to split. I got mine at Walmart. It was relatively new bottle.

Hi, seems the glue bottle tip is a common flaw, had to transfer my glue to another bottle..I love these videos and I am thankful for you!
FYI, my last bottle of Fabri Tac did the same thing. Mine got a giant crack and broke off completely. Real shocker!
Hi Gayle! I have been so busy for a while. I think I am finally caught up watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
I have finally caught up!! I thought with your time away I would have caught up sooner but you’ve just been chuggin’ along- even with your busy schedule 🙂!! The glue bottle must have a flaw because its happened to me to where it cracked at the base.
Love how the pockets turned out super cute. Tfs
I also had a Fabri-Tac bottle break just like yours. I just transferred the rest to another bottle.
So much fun watching you work on this project! Do you happen to remember where you got the vellum flower stickers? It looked like Chinese or Japanese writing on the package. Thanks!
Got them here: www.etsy.com/shop/bellasbitsandbuys❤️
