Tbh I hated on hit varus and I decided to give a try to the crit build and it felt so good. It's like lethality but your autos do a lot of dmg as well!
Lot of people that tried Varus before and didn't like him would have likely loved Crit Varus yeah
Wait i really need to know how did you make your Q into a dot again? I've been hating the change to an arrow they did some time ago
Just disable the Line Missile Display in interface settings iirc.
I really like your style for Varus.
On another note, have you tried first strike Varus? Same crit build with collector rush, but just plays a bit more like lethality Varus early game. Biscuits and mana flow band to help keep up with the mana from using Q every time first strike is up. It’s like getting an extra minion every wave.
Am curious to try the new first strike but haven't yet, I did always think of it like a faster/longer ranged PtA but the cooldown of it turned me off.
Great video! Whats your thoughts on the new navori? Are there situations you build it instead of pd?
I've only tried it one game but don't think it'll be all that useful on Varus, the other Zeal items just a lot better. I used to like old Navori because it had haste and itd amp Varus blight dmg but thats gone now sadly.

I have been playing varus with a similar build but i seem to struggle pretty hard against caitlyn. any tipps on that matchup on the current patch with her oneshot build?
oh and i am curious what you think of IE into ruunaans and then wildarrows third. that seems like something that could work nicely too.
14.10 Caitlyn is just a nightmare afaik, she can 100 to 0 most squishies with a single trap auto late game. Either just ban her or play a comp that can keep her shutdown forever. So lethality Varus + another poke or engage support. Also IE rush was fine yeah, it feels terrible when you're behind though.
@@EisukeVarus so banning her it is... It's just a bit tragic how broken she is atm.
Also does the removal of lethal tempo affect the on hit build at all in your eyes?
@@theduskmonarch6207for Onhit you just cant buy 3-4 AS items anymore yeah, since itd make you overcap AS right away. You'll have to do with just 2-3, and opting for defensive boots more often instead of Berserkers. So Kraken>tabis>rageblade>terminus

Please can you try nashors into double mask, then rift maker then steraks :) really tanky build, take double health scaling PtA with over growth secondary rune set :)
IE LDR pd or collector seems good even against squishies ldr provides more lethality than collector and nice video

so varus just have more burst but less damage overall
its more dmg than before, unless you meant DPS. But you can just buy tier 2 boots earlier than I did for earlier DPS.
