Pyrrha's Semblance, Polarity, allowed her to control metal via magnetism and the teacher name is Glynda Goodwitch her Semblance is Telekinesis
I mean it would make sense for them to believe they both do telekinesis since they have no way of knowing that Pyrrha only controls metal. And even tho it’s doesn’t work the same (polarity is actually control of magnetic fields while telekinesis is gravity manipulation) it’s still very similar visually.
I don't know if I'd call what Mis goodwitch had telekinesis. The term kinesis specifically refers to the mind( pyrokinesis: manipulating fire via the mind, pathokinesis: manipulating emotions via the mind, etc), while it looked like she was using her wand. I'd say what she has is less telekinesis and more... magical based levitation
@@taylorvanhorn5594 in story of rwby magic is not existing anymore because is volume 5 or 6 I forget. When 2 god is left magic don’t exist anymore only that time people have magic when god still on earth when they left magic is gone too. only magic left is ozpin,salam,spring maden, and relic.wait for volume 9 will be more information.
@@user-bs2ll3fq9t Ok, one: No offence, but your grammar was atrocious, and two: I was just stating things as I saw them. She wasn't using telekinesis. She was using her little whip wand to manipulate things and magic was the closest comparision I could think of(Think Wingardium Leviosa from Harry Potter). I don't really know the lore of the show, nor do I care to learn.
@@KizaruBorsalino Nah, Telekinesis is just lifting things with your mind. Gravity manipulation would be Gyrokinesis.
Edit: Also, what Pyra has is Ferrokinesis/Metalokinesis(Both mean the same thing. Take your pick.).
