Hi, this is how I felt going from the USA to Nigeria the 1st time by myself. I was Exhausted and completely overwhelmed. The 2nd time was a bit better. Soon getting my courage up to return for a 3rd time.

No, it wasn’t your visa type..you couldn’t transit in Amsterdam because you’re were traveling with Nigerian passport and it is the strength of the passport m…so you need transit visa… it’s crazy because Liberian transit in Amsterdam visa free. And I have seen Nigerians go through this so many times.. Which I can’t help and insert myself in the situation every-time..

Thank you! It was about 13 hours from Lagos to Atlanta. It wasn’t as bad because for the most part it was dark. I think day trips tend to seem longer

Yep mine was an immigrant visa. Not sure of the policy now since COVID restrictions have reduced

What is customs like upon arrival in Lagos? *Sincerely asking anyone that has been through CUSTOMS.*
For the most part it’s a smooth process, though it depends on the day and time you arrive. They ask for tips quite a bit. However you are under no obligation to do so.

Actually the flight from Atlanta to LA would be from 3 to 4hrs and maybe 5hrs depending on the flight schedule.
Crossing the time zones can impact the times. Leaving Chicago to Los Angeles in May was 2 travel hours #direct flight not to mention 2 time zones. *Atlanta is 3 -4 time zones ahead of LA depending on the Daylight savings hours.*
