As you yourself point out dear Jeff, the joy of the musicians in this video reveals to us a lot of the essence of this music by Rameau. In passing we will recognize in the orchestra two rising stars of baroque music, Thomas Dunford on archlute and Théotime Langois de Swarte among the violinists. I even think we'll see them again in your future broadcasts! ;-) Since its founding Les Arts Florissants has been a fantastic melting pot of talent.
