The similarities between dev and mizora are just... I didn't even realize hahaha. Mizora is so dev coded. Treating the companions like pets, calling wyll a naughty boy, being a badass, dressing to the 9s. ITS ALL THERE, PEOPLE
I feel like Dev's excitement over killing the whole grove matches her dissapointment when she couldnt fight the whole grove at the beginning lmao I say let her cook!!
"What would happen if I shove Karlach......with...my....knife?" Umm, that is called a stab. Pretty sure Karlach will not approve.
As I think about it, the sequence of events was this:
****SPOILERS*****
1) Wyl goes against his orders, knowing it may cost him his life, and does not fight Karlach
2) Mizora appears and sends Wyl through the burning 9 levels of hell for not killing Karlach, permanently scaring him
3) Karlach tells Dev'Zel she is amazed Wyl saved her life at such cost
4) Wyl swears that he would not change a thing about his life, even being scarred
5) Devora, standing in front of Karlach in full sight of Wyl, wonders "what would happen if I shove Karlach with my knife?"
"I am Dev'zel of Creche... Lon-don" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's kind of like when watching a horror film and you're shouting "No!! Don't do that! Don't go in the basement!" and then they do it and go in the basement. Lol! It's fun to see all the actors enjoying this fantastic game they helped bring to life. Thank you, Dev, for your high energy enthusiasm and thank you Grace for your patient guidance!
I love how Dev is just unapologetically making evil choices without having an "evil playthrough" in mind, it's just genuinely how she rolls 😂 2:42:30

I'm enjoying this, so much. I have often wondered how actors in games relate to their characters ( I work in technical theatre ) and this has far exceeded my wildest expectations in terns of pure entertainment. You are clearly as mad as a box of frogs and awesome.

Eagle Heart Karlach can actually kill things by jumping on top of them. I find it to be an endlessly entertaining way to fight pretty much everything.

I imagine playing this game on console and controller is just the hidden 4th difficulty that we've been lookig for.
I'm not gonna ask why not play this on PC to make it easier, i'll just be enjoying the chaos, cheers!
cheaper and easier to setup if you don't already have a gaming pc, and yeah it seems more difficult than pc
Playing on controller is so much better and more immersive. Have tried both.

It REALLY is though. I'm a mouse and key PC gamer, but the clunky camera controls and lack of WASD movement makes mouse and key an absolute drag. Controller play makes you feel like you're actually in the world, rather than commanding little pieces on a board.
@@mitchelllarabie6939 And i suppose you love how you have to move a circle around to do stuff, instead of just have a mouse ready to interact with anything anywhere in the screen....while moving the camera around at the same time....
I needed this, thanks Grace and Dev for another amazing show. Oh me of little faith, I thought for sure during the frog fight it was going to finally happen, Dev was going to get so fucked off at the game that she would either want to quit or save scum but she HANDLED that fucking frog (Pro Gamer Vibes) and we're about to burn the Grove to the ground and honestly this is just TOP TIER TELEVISION every single week and I can't even stand it. Also props to Grace for god-tier guiding this episode, just *chefs kiss* I wish I had Grace, I'm on act 3 in my first play-through and honestly this game can get so difficult #FFS #GraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaceWotIsHappening😩

Dev, I had been trying to come up with an encouraging way to suggest that you not always do the 'right' thing, and not worry about missing out on parts of the game from doing the 'wrong' thing, but clearly I should've had more faith in you! You're doing wonderful, getting the hang of both the tactile and mental aspects of playing the game. Keep having fun :) P.S. you're going to have so much fun discussing the game with Jen and Aliona, since you're sure to see many different things as you continue through the story.
You are definitely a natural at this streaming thing :D And the Combo with Grace is just amazing you are an amazing team. I have never really watched lets plays or streams because they bore me after 20 minutes or so and I never got the hype of watching someone else play a game, but somehow I watched every episode here and wait for the next. Super entertaining and the pace of the episodes is great. I only have time to watch like 30-60 minutes a day so its perfect and never gets old. You two are my new TV show I guess :D PS: Yeah you can poison peoples food. Poison the Keg of the Goblins for example. Not with an apple though but with literal poison. Just have to be sneaky about it. Be invisible or so. Kills a lot of them.

I’m still on my first character and she’s a bard who shape-shifts (via disguise self) constantly, so I’m mostly playing for social checks and to learn the game…When I’m not up for battles I will seriously just lower the difficulty for that fight. So I feel you!

I think the experience to be stunned and feel the weight of your actions and to feel the craft they did with the medium can not be "react only" mode. It is lazy and half baked.

To be honest the game could be better at warning you when there's an attack of opportunity... I've messed that up a lot of times just because I didn't see it.
I think they said they made it more obvious in a patch but i didn't really notice a difference tbh 💀

Considering that elves are only an adult at the Age of 100 years old id say Shadowheart is technically the youngest with her 40 years
Shadowheart is a half-elf, so it isn't quite the same ratio, though she is still young. Lae'zel could theoretically live for tens of thousands of years in the Astral Plane, so at 22 she's very much a baby for a githyanki.

@@ChadPlunk it's just in theory. If she stays in the material plane, she'll age in a similar manner to humans, with a similar lifespan. Time doesn't really pass in the Astral plane, so githyanki can live an absurdly long time by staying there.

Well done for choosing Mintara. Most choose Druid and Karlach. It's quite boring and monotonous. With Mintara you can also get a good ending. She will be the most faithful ally both against the Absolute and for the Absolute. And the romance with her is excellent. There will be a wonderful quest in Act 2 related to her rescue.

Remember. Wyll and Karlach are going to leave if you destroy the grove. But there is way around that. You just have to kill Wyll and Karlach and revive them after the destruction of the grove through Withers in Camp. Gale also has a chance of leaving if you don't make a persuasion check.
Does this really work? Because I’ve been distraught about having my camp so empty, I can’t do a Goblin-siding run 😭

@@benten2462 yes it's actually funny. I killed them in camp. The goblins had a party directly next to the corpses of Wyll and Karlach. After the party I revived them and they were none the wiser 🤣

"Reading is for losers?" I read all the books and letters during my first playthrough and got an achievement for it 😆 But for the story, you really just need to read the "plot" books/scrolls/letters (orange square surrounding then in the inventory)

I tried with a xbox controller it was so counterintuitive and interaction took so much time compared to PC.

I don’t know why grace doesn’t give more basic help for combat. Devora was frustrated after 2 mins of playing which is somewhat understandable since she used the wizard for strength combat actions and the two strength fighters are equipped with a staff and a bow…

Grace does as much as she is able. It is quite hard to give someone tips when you aren't RL next to them, Grace has to try and find the controls (she might be even using normally an differen system?) and she is also a bit delayed. And to be honest, Dev is quite fastly done with all the fighting xD
It seems to me she is either delayed or reading the chat and not checking all the time what's going on.

@@gracethedreadwaffle No, and she is independent minded and her playstyle is what makes these live fun ... still she would be less frustrated at times if some basics were taught before the live, like 'Gale is a wizard, he is at his best when he casts spells ...", and that's it. Dev is very smart and will figure the rest.
