  • In this movie review, we’ll talk about Out of Darkness, a horror film with great potential that falls short in execution and ending.
Despite a promising premise and eerie setting, Out of Darkness fails to deliver on its promise of being a scary movie. We’ll discuss what worked and what didn’t, as well as the impact of the unsatisfying ending. If you’re a fan of horror films, you may want to skip this one.

Poor review, this was a horror movie but really it was about “modern man” meeting the “caveman” and thinking they were monsters……. Dude I suck at puzzles and even I knew what it was all about in the end, “they are like us” means they are HUMAN

I will never understand why the final twist makes it bad its literally showing we are our own worst enemy without understanding and communication it literally shows a scenario many previous humans dealt with it also shows subtly the behaviors we still show today from those times its a key to awareness a wake up call to human nature and showing us our flaws we still behave the same today (collectively) slightly differently less murder more terrible words actions and such lack of trust

Plot whole: What was the Balck Goop the father found after his son got taken. That was never answered.

I hate the cliché that when a character knows something of utmost importance and priority, they tell you after you commit the act. The son said “where’s my dad?” while shaking and didn’t speak again until after his tribe mate killed his kidnapper/protector, just to reveal that he was being helped and taken care of by his kidnapper/protector.
I also thought this was going to be a Wendigo origin story. Which would’ve been way more interesting than cave-people in a mask.
