@@Iamspartacus1 Probably not. There's supposed to be a standard based around the British system for pipes on steam engines. The likely ones would be 1/2, 3/4 & 1 inch - which is the bore of the pipe, not the diameter of the threads. If it was a hydraulic coupling there'd be more chance it'd comply, but that looked like push valve tap that was missing its sprinkler head. It could at least as likely be a metric thread, especially in France.
Really enjoying following you guys on your travels. Interesting to see your reactions to Cornwall, knowing so well myself, glad you liked it so much. Looking forward to following you through France, Spain and Portugal.
We took our 50 year old Vw camper to Italy in August from the Uk didn’t use a single toll road as she’s happy trundling along at 50-55 and it meant we were able to enjoy the best scenery , towns and villages on the back roads.Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip.
Great vlog as usual guys....im just back from southern Portugal weathers nice around 19 degrees also popped to Seville in Spain well worth a visit beautiful city.
lovely stuff. we used to live near fougeres at st mars sur la futaie. we now have a cottage in the woods in LOT (dept 46). if you are heading down there its well worth checking out Rocamadour. A religious pilgrimage city built into the cliffs. safe travels. chris and justine x
You two will have the most fantastic time exploring the peninsula around the Brittany coast. Me and my partner slept in the back of my car all round there and we always think of it as one of the best trips of our lives so far
Quite surprised actually as I'd always thought that you're both vegan. No matter you're lovely people and your travels remind me of my travels in the 1960's. Although a very different world then. I love Ben's music, reminds me of Steve Hillage and also early Robert Wyatt. Marvellous. Thank you.❤️
what a lovely place ,well worth a visit.Especially for the dancing goats .🙂For sure that was a turbine you could hear for generating electricity. In catalunya there are quite a few in all the major rivers, they were used to provide power for the mills built alongside ,and now most of the old mill buildings which have been converted to housing get their power from the rivers.can,t get much greener than that.
Just started following you! Year before last hubby and I did 3 months travelling through France, Spain and Portugal!! Looking forward to seeing your adventures!❤
A nice place to visit is on the border of Portugal (Algarve region) and Spain (city of Ayamonte), in a town called Vila Real de Santo António (Portugal). It is at the Guadiana river. Next to the marina is a Camping spot. Ayamonte is also nice. And this time of the year the weather is usaually great.
I was thinking about little Alan as I watched this and thought: she’d never cope with this lifestyle. I do think that she’s better off with Emily’s mum.
Thanks for taking us on your journey. Always makes me look at a map and do a bit of reading about your itinerary. Of course deciding to travel over 2000 km in winter in a van to find some sun and warmth is bonkers! But that’s what makes it fun for the rest of us. Enjoy your adventure.
Safe and happy driving in beautiful France. I love the aires. They are so different and very often you can find one within walking distance from a village or town
Fantastic Fougere. What a beautiful place. Love the castles in France. So much history, and so well preserved. Have a great time and enjoy all that lovely food. Happy new year xx
@@johandemondt8028 I agree with you 💯, modern buildings are soul-less shiny blocks. Older construction was solid, characterful & interesting with nooks & crannies & attractive stonework.
What beautiful views of French building styles at 13:20 where you feature the walls expanding outward to accomodate extra rooms upstairs. I love the toppling building that didnt fall down for hundreds of years at 13:39 😅
Love the mustard plaster & wooden beams. I guess you've always rushed through Brittany on a mission to find heat and then rushed through to catch a ferry on the way back. I wish all the old mills in the UK had dynamos, to mill electricity.
A great start to your trip , looks like you are going to have a great time. love to follow you two neat people around and see lots of places that seem to be off the regular beaten track. So keep us followers with you. Stay safe and well, Ed 40 S OF Vegas
Hi do my pancakes creps with vinegar and sugar sometimes other thing's I remember once when I was short of ingredients to make desert.had some of my kids friends at ours. I did pancakes with some syrup on with sliced peaches rolled them up and spiked some icing sugar on . delicious.
You two look like your enjoying the Christmas holidays and having a lovely time. It must be lovely knowing you have weeks of fun and adventures ahead of you when most people are battening down the hatches for a few bleak months and the dreaded return to work.
Hi guys, the song at 3.23 gets me everytime… I love love love it!!! Benny your music is so great to listen to on the videos. So glad you are getting your cat fix 🐈🐈⬛ you seem to be a magnet for cats, they must sense you are both so chilled. Have a great trip. Happy new year 🥰
It’s a beautiful area but as grey as England. Those crepes looked absolutely delicious! Looking forward to seeing more. Lovely animals.❤️Take care, safe travels and Happy New Year. xxxxx
My mum lives in Brittany 😊 if you decide to go there I would recommend the valley of the saints, on a clear day is best so you can see for miles around
The crepe maker uses more whole grain in his batter there. Our baker, Gilda is from Quebec, CA his are made on the bug round plate but they come out lighter colored
@@BenandEmily You guys look soooo much happier after selling up and escaping from this Ununited Kingdom of HELL never come back to this SHITHOLE DOOMED country why would you 👌👍
Best to use the A roads (also known as N roads … Route Nationales) …. you see so much more of the real France. Motorways are great for long journeys when you need to get somewhere quickly but can be expensive. Recently drove from Geneva in Switzerland to our home in SW France and the toll fees alone were over 90 euros. Fuel was half that price! By the way, lots of cats are feral in France… especially in the countryside. They keep the rodents in check! If you’re travelling back anywhere near Pau or Toulouse you’re very welcome to stay with us in a little village in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Plenty of room for the van and Mountain Views.
You used to be able to buy a rubber tap connector with a jubilee clip which fitted everything 😊obviously it was too simple and didn’t generate enough profits .
those service machines where you get water - make sure to take water from the side without the bar on cos that is the cassette rinse tap. love the vid.
Brazil is a great place to visit during the winter months because their weather is summer like at this time of year. In the meantime have a wonderful time regardless.
I completely understand you there; what more could you want with all the animals, beautifull nature, castle...looks like a nice trip, as always actually😂 I'm excited to see what adventures are coming up for you, have fun💖💖💖
Lovely video. Crepes looked delicious, no doubt at some point you will have some more. Enjoy your trip and hope you find some warmer weather. Hope your change of plan works out. Take care and safe🙋👩❤️💋👨❤️🎄🎄🎅
Hi benny and Emily Love watching the videos not sure if someone has said but if you can get some plumbers PTFE tape from a DIY store and wrap the tap threads you should be able to use the bigger adapter ok until you find the correct one hope this helps john
So glad you went to fougere, we went to poy du fou in the summer would def recomend. Found brittany bit challenging for park ups on the coast. Would recomend mont st michelle, reasonably priced parking and 23 euro overnight and free bus ride to the island which was so atmospheric dispite all the tourists xx
Great vlog guys. Thanks for sharing with us. A lovely place. I hope you enjoyed Christmas 🎄. Happy New year to you both. Looking forward to seeing you next week. Take care and stay safe.😊

Lol I remembered watching you in the narrow boat 😂 ❤
I saw the cars flyin by on the highway......is he drivin like grandma??? 🤣🤣
Remember Bemily this is your magical pastries tour 😂❤
Be very glad you are there guys - the UK weather forecast for the next week is really bad!
Your universal water connector screws apart the small bit screws out, and the rest of it will fit on
Just about to say😂
