Yessssssssss I’ve been looking everywhere for a running stroller without air filled tires. We live in a the desert so once the pavements end, it’s dirt 🤣. I have the Peg Perego Booklet 50, 2018model.... not a jogger but I ran with it omg, it has so many miles on it and it’s still in gray contraction, great recline and shade for our now 2.5 year old.
I am so tempted! Also, is magic beans closing?! I love Eli! I depend on him for my stroller purchases. Seriously the best reviews. I think I need this ridge
One is a jogging stroller the other is not. You can jog with one, and the other you cannot. One you can take on all terrains, the other you cannot. One you can take uphill/downhill because it has a handbrake (crucial for downhill), the other you cannot.
I am going to say that this seems much more comfortable for the baby than the Thule Urban Glide 2. We were recently in the market for a jogger and compared the Thule Urban Glide 2, Bob Alterrain Pro and the Bumbleride Indie. Ended up going with the Bob because its so versatile and our baby was instantly the most comfortable in it. This stroller seems very similar to the BoB. The main problem with the Thule is that it is really made for jogging and nothing else. It is also made keeping in mind aerodynamics and parent comfort while jogging rather than child comfort. So if you need a stroller that jogs, strolls and which you can take for hikes as well as around town, I would consider more Allterrain models like this UPPAbaby and the BoB Alterrain Pro.
@@josephinevera9966 We've actually been very happy with our Alterrain Pro. Used it lots of times for winter walks this season as well. So far, no issues with squeaky wheels or anything else. And my toddler is so content in this stroller. So, even after 5 months of use, still happy to recommend.
Assembly took about 10 minutes. Tried the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxH6qKgszNeMi7lLzvjBifqEp-DqTXB2AG stroller with our grandson, and he loved it! It wheels effortlessly and folds simply. Length folded is about 48“ x 4“. Not sure why other reviewers are having difficulty with the canopy staying attached, but I have not had this problem. Would definitely recommend it.
Hi Crestina! Yes, Uppababy informed us of the one reported injury occurred when a non-occupant child’s fingertip got caught in the disc brake openings while the stroller was in use. RIDGE stroller with model number 1401-RDG-US manufactured between October 2021 and August 2022 with UPPAbaby will be notified via email and letter by our office. They will be provided with replacement Disc Brake kits supplied by UPPAbaby through www.uppababy.com/ridge/disc-brakes.
Between this and Bob, what's the major difference? I know the no air tires, but more interested in child comfort ... Seat width, depth, padding, straps, and upright and max recline?
I'd be very interested to know that too. We recently were in the market for a jogger / allterrain stroller and went with the Bob Alterrain Pro simply because of how comfortable our baby was in it as well as how versatile that stroller is. This one seems very similar to the Bob in terms of versatility so I'll be curious about baby comfort. The seats and straps also look very similar though so I would imagine the baby would be very comfortable in this as well. But if you're in the market, I can vouch for how comfortable the BoB is.
I ended up getting bob alterrain Not pro since I use it more for trails and uneven pavement etc and not much jogging where one might need hand brakes Also not ridge since disc brake maintenance is more of a headache than filling air.
Can you use the Minu in the snow/gravel?? I love the idea of the compact stroller but wonder if it would even work in the winter time to go to the drs office
Hi Eli, I just purchased the Uppababy Ridge and see that it doesn't provide a travel bag for airplane travel. Can you provide me options as to how I can travel with this stroller. I really don't want to send it back. I'm traveling from MI to WA.
Hi Eli! Thanks for your awesome videos! Is the Ridge good for the beach? Or which might be the best main stroller for the beach for my kid's who are expecting their first baby and live in L.A.? I would like to get them a main stroller and a travel stroller that would work together well and for all their activities. Thanks!
Hi Lori! Thank you so much for watching! The Ridge definitely would work for the beach. I'd recommend you book a consultation with one our experts who can learn a little bit more about their lifestyle and family so they can help you pick the best stroller combo! You can book your consultation here: www.mbeans.com/consultations/22176c
Can my Cruz stroller seat fit this with the car seat brackets? I would like my 3-4 month old to face me. We are going to the snow and looking for a better stroller for the terrain.
Am I able to use the bassinet with the ridge on a gravel or dirt road? Or am I only able to use the bassinet with it when I’m on super flat or smooth ground?
Your best bet is to consult your pediatrician, but the main goal is to keep your baby’s head from flopping around since they don’t have the strength to support it on their own.
Thank you Eli. Could you share what is the seat height? And is it average or higher/lower than other popular jogging stroller? Like BoB or baby jogger?
I have a specific question. We are expecting our baby in July 2022. we really want the Vista V2 because of the double feature.... BUT we live in the country and will always be on gravel roads and sandy arena... so we really need the Uppababy ridge.. so the perfect stroller for us would be the Uppababy vista V2 but with the 16 and 12 inch foam filled tires of the ridge. so my question is: can the tires of the ridge be put on the vista V2?? so i would purchase the vista v2 and then purchase the 16 and 12 inch tires of the ridge to put on my vista. can someone try it in store and see if it clicks in the vista please. thanks a lot.
Hi Mylene, it would definitely be magical if that could happen but they are not compatible. Of course you are always more than welcome to book a consultation with one of our wonderful experts who can help match you with a stroller that meets your needs! I don’t recommend this strolley because it isn’t congruent to the crossroad. It is rattly expensive machine, it doesn’t make forest road, simply road, low bollard, nothing!!!
It’s ABOUT (f’in) TIME they came out with a jogger!!!!!!

I have to agree there’s no one stroller that does it all, if you want a large durable jogging stroller you also need a small on the go one!
Could you please do a Vista vs ridge video? It would be so helpful to know the benefits of each one for those of us trying to decide between the 2.
agree ! these are the two I'm deciding between

Love our Ridge! We will be flying with it next week can you recommend a travel case/bag? Uppababy does not make their own for the ridge :/
There been a recall due to Fingertip Amputation from this product. Is there an update about this?

Which one you ended up buying. I had a airfilled jogging 4 years also and i was tired of the airfilled tires.

Omg, I know where my mind went when he said “magical slit”
Would you say the white canopy is likely to get stained super easily? Trying to decide between black or white…
Are the adapters for the Ridge compatible with the Nuna Pipa Lite Rx carseat?
Is the fabric machine washable? I am interested in how suspension and ‘driving-comfort’ compare to the Bumbleride Indie
Do you know if they are updating the minu?
Can you use the Minu in the snow/gravel?? I love the idea of the compact stroller but wonder if it would even work in the winter time to go to the drs office
We have the minu and I'm gonna say no. A little bit of gravel or snow that's packed, maybe. But it's really not made for that.

Hi Darya! Uppababy does not make a travel bag at this time and we have not tried the Ridge in any other travel bags to confirm the fit.
Please do a fuuuuuul review for bumbleride indie
