Thank you! I love to journal and collect all the things. But storage as at a premium as I don’t have my own space. I love the organization and all the folders, boxes and the books you use to store your washi/stickers. Also appreciate the tip on using a budget to purchase your stationery. Now to put it into practice 😊
Thank you so much for watching!! And I agree, in my old house I had zero space and a lot of the storage you see was in the closet and I had to literally pick out of all my favorites ONE storage to put in my space. lol so brutal! Practice makes it better ;) Thank you for watching!!
I'm so happy to see long form video from you! Yay!! What I would give to hang out in your office space. All those pretty covers, notebooks, and sticker goods!! I'm like you and try to stay within my "stationery" budget as well😅 And how cute is that lil baggie you made!! You have such a good eye for design and decor, M!❤
@@SeaweedKisses awwww thank you so much!! And being a sounding board for me as well. Come over anytime!!! lol It’s been a long time coming. It has been brewing inside and I’m so happy I can finally share it to the community!! Thanks for watching!!!
I love your organisation ❤ I have created washi cards for all my washi and it was a huge game changer for space and plus I use it more because I can see it, also I have made folders to go in my delfonics pouches like you have for your sticker storage for all different types of papers and it’s been amazing 😊 I’m an out of sight, out of mind kind of person so I need to visually see what I have so the travellers sticker release are also great for me. I have a tiny desk so these systems have meant that I’m not overwhelmed and I follow your one in one out rule so it brings me joy not anxiety!
First off Thank you for watching!! ❤️ And same. I have to visually see everything or I won’t use it. So having a system like this helps out so much! Washi cards are just so versatile! Also I get so much satisfaction when a Washi roll is all done lol. I’m sure you feel the same! In my last house I had a tiny desk as well. It was literally 16” wide lol. So having that small space help me figure out a good system. And now that I have this space and room to spread. It was so overwhelming at first. Lol. But I’m use to it now.
Wow, I am impressed by your storage! I totally suck at it. My problem is that I buy and buy and buy and then I have no idea/dedicated space where I‘ll store it. You‘ve inspired me to try and do better. Dedicated space as a physical containment could be the answer. Only buy if it fits. Thank you for sharing. You have an amazing setup.
That was my issue too. I would buy becuase I didn't see what I had. So (So to speak) wrangling it all and putting them in a storage box, you have a better sense of what you got and what you dont need to buy more of. I am so happy this video inspired you and I know you will find the perfect storage for your stationery and be able to use it all up and then you can buy even more!! A beautiful cycle! And thank you so much watching!!
I have IKEA storage cabinets, also the TN sticker release inserts. I have a lot of stationery scattered everywhere. It’s an organized mess. My downfall is stickers and washi/PET; I have way too much. I’m trying to stop the FOMO mindset.
Oh. I understand that to my core lol. I’m the same! I think what helped was only buying stationery once a year. It truly helped me use up all my stuff and then when it was time to buy I had a better idea of what I wanted to spend my money on. I say first things first take everything out. Get rid of everything you don’t want or use by selling or giving it away. Or maybe putting it ins own box and mark it as giveaway. And then organizing your stationery that makes sense on how your journal. :) Like for me. Having all my stickers in those books makes it easier to see what I have and I one place (actively) to pull stickers from. It’s a lot of work at first. But once it’s all done. So much better and so much easier and a lot less overwhelming ❤️ here’s to using up all our stickers and Washi/pet tape!
Thank you!! A nice storage box or even the notebooks I shown are great options! If I come up with any other ideas, I will be sure to share!! Thank you for watching!!
Wow! Watching your video is like the thoughts in head coming to life! Haha…thank you for sharing. How did you add an elastic for the kangaroo notebooks? Great idea!
@@Spottedbyjoy hahahaha I’m so glad it resonated with you!! I just threaded it through the on the holes from the inside. Since it’s sturdy cardboard. It holds up :) Thank you so much for watching.
Enjoyed this video. I love having storage for stationery. I have a classiky tools box which I keep stamps in. I have different storage for different items. Not sure if you mentioned but wheres the tn stand thing from please? Where yoy put your sticker release inserts / md spiral books? X
Thank you so much for watching! Storage for stationery is just so much fun! I have the toolbox a well but I store my makeup in it lol that will be in an other video coming soon! The little storage that I store my books in is actually a planter! I had this thing for so long I don't think I even remember where I got it from. I want to say Hobby Lobby or maybe Joann's. I believe I got it back in 2014 lol but I always love using things as storage even when its not intended it for.
Lovely storage! I always think of my journal / planner hobby as two hobbies: buying journal supplies and using journal supplies, but you've made me add a third hobby--organizing and storying journal supplies. It's definitely a huge part of the pleasure of stationery. (-: I've been wanting a Classiky box for years but haven't found them in stock anytime I go to look for them. May I ask where you purchased yours? Also, where oh where did you get that lil van pin on the beautiful bag you made? Thanks for sharing and mentioning the importance of budgeting for stationery purchases.
First off thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! I love being able to chat and discuss! So I definitely appreciate it! And yes! Organizing is so much fun lol. It also makes the process more smoother when you know what you have and you have a system of storing the stationery. And plus. Pretty boxes and pretty bags lol. I purchased mines back in 2017/2018 and got them in various places. But 2 places I can think that may actually have them in stock is Baum Kuchen in California and then 26market in Canada. I haven’t checked for them lately so I don’t know what the status is. But those are the 2 places I would check :) The little van pin I got from Baum Kuchen. They have lots of pin designs! A very slippery slope lol.
I throw all my stuff in a large basket as of right now. It's sad. Lol! I can't wait until my room is remodeled and I can get some nicer storage. Thanks for sharing. I got so many ideas from your video.
lol I get that!! Before I had my space. I still stored all my items as you see. But they were not displayed at all. I had them in a closet which was sad because they are so pretty! So I made sure for this new space I have. It was open bookshelves to display all the pretty things. And the not not so pretty things that looks clutter is in a wardrobe on the opposite end of the bookshelves behind closed doors lol. I’m so glad you got some ideas!! Thank you for watching!
Where did you find the wonderful clips? Also, I have some of the Kangaroo and possibly the b books and haven’t yet used them love your ideas… I need to try some of the budgeting as well, getting too big of a collection
Hi Annette! Thank you for watching! Yea stationery can get so crazy out of hand lol but its all good! Im sure you will come up with a process that will help you :) The clips are from The Boston General Store...they have great stationery items there as well!
You have some really great tips. I really like the travelers spiral booklet with the pockets. Also your box for the stickers is perfect. Can you post the measurements or the official name / size for this classiky tool box. I’d like to find one and am not sure which one is this perfect size. Thank you !
Thank you so much for watching!! The Classiky Box that holds the stickers is the small size. In the video I featured the Large and what I thought was the medium is actually the small size (the medium size I do have but that holds all our family meds lol)
