Prayers for my family. My niece is gone. 18 yrs old, just finished her first year of college and the lord needed her more than us. My heart is breaking more by the minute. 3am and we lay her to rest in a matter of hours. There are no words. 🙌🏾😭

Amazing. Serious Classic here. I have seen the Williams Brothers live numerous times as a child as well as the Jackson Southernaires from the late 70's to the current time. This group worked hard from the very second they hit the floor until the last musician walked off the stage. Too many wonderful memories for me. Earthly accolades do not sum up one's character however I will say this: that Doug William's vocal ability was & is still completely underrated. I have seen Melvin, Doug & Henry bring a church to a serious boil & then blow the lid off! Leonard Williams is a mainstay influence. He sang BGV's and smashed on bass guitar; he pushed the band in different ways. He & the late Terrell 'Midge' Gatlin were serious pros on the floor and Leonard was was a highlight of the Williams Brothers' live performance. If you ever witnessed it then you know what I am talking about. The message of the Gospel is first & foremost. That being said, The Williams Brothers were monumental in bringing Southern Gospel to the world. May God forever bless you all.

My mother had two children. I was the oldest and my Lil brother Raymond. Raymond became very ill in the latter part of his life. I had moved to Des Moines. God spoke to me and said call your brother. Raymond said Sista ,I am in a lot of pain. I prayed for him. I asked if he was ready to give his Life to God. Yes He Replied! I asked him to repeat the Sinner Prayer A month later we got a call That He Was Gone April 10,2020 Good Friday My brother had the Glory of God on his face A L Beal Mortuary Micheal, told me that he was going to take Raymond by the house for the last time We drove passed the house blowing the horns.
