Hi there! First of all thank you a lot for making this tutorial, it made some things clear for me. But I've a problem, and I need help. I've one SSD installed in my machine, gpt partition. I've made one of disk partitions bootable by unmounting pop os 22.04 lts iso to there. I managed to boot it. I did the same thing as you shown: I made 1GB fat32 partition for /boot, 4GB for /restore and the rest for general purposes. Then I created physical volume from the general one, and divided it into swap and root as you shown. Problem is the installer is only seeing the osvg, not boot or restore. I think I should make /boot as physical volume but I have no clue about file systems. I would be glad if someone help me, thanks!
Appreciate your comment here, please join me on descord and share screenshot if possible to check the partitions that you create, so I can provide propare support. here is the invitation link Discord: discord.gg/msSb4bSf2M
I wish to express my thanks for the time and effort you invested in this excellent video tutorial. I am a Linux Noob and was able to follow your tutorial successfully. I do have a question that I am hoping you can answer via another video tutorial or written reply? My question is instead of using Swap file could you kindly tell me how to create a SwapOnZram instead when creating logical drive called Swap (or would logical drive even be necessary when using SwapOnZram?) Either way I would appreciate knowing how to create it when installing Pop OS 22.04 . Thanks again kindest regards!
You're a time saver friend! I'm saving this video for when I have to re-install my system again :)
Thanks ya Akhi.. really helpful..

Why do I have [SWAP] as a disk with around 4GB of size? I see this when I use the lsblk command?
do you partition the disk by urself ?
