It’s been on my list for a while. Finally went today. Such a fun trail and the views were incredible. We’re lucky to have this type of thing on our doorstep, magnificent. Another great video btw 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you, much appreciated mate! Yes, it's a lovely part of the country. Looking forward to riding it again and a few others I didn't have time for on my next visit.
I did HBR once and mastermind twice on one battery while in turbo a few months ago so doing HBR twice is definitely possible. Another great video Derek 👍🤙
Looks like an awesome hill descent! I'm thinking of getting a new full sus and considering whether to switch to 29er, do you find it an improvement from 27.5" wheels? Is it better at taming lumpy features? (I'm not so bothered about speed!)
Yes in my opinion the 29er rolls over rougher terrain better than the last 27.5 I had. The slight downside is less maneuverability in tighter sections but I've got used to the way it handles. Mullets seem to be more popular now which seem to blend the advantages of both but I've never had one so can't properly comment about them yet. If you can get a demo of the different set ups and see how you get on. If anyone else could comment with their experience that would maybe help you decide which one would suit you best. Either way it will handle better than a Raleigh Chopper😅
“For the greater good”. Top reference 🤣👏🏻👏🏻

Great video! Really enjoy your channel, keep up the good work please.
Thanks very much mate. I'm glad you enjoy it👊🏻
excellent vid as always dude, btw that full facer is 👌🔥🔥🔥
Thanks guys👊🏻 This descent merited the full kit!
Iconic Scottish trail. Flowy rocky natural goodness, into some loamy looseness. Looks good mate. Have to make the journey at some point!
Definitely you'll have a blast mate!👊🏻
Cracking vid mate - awesome trail! I did HBR in ECO a month or so ago and only used about a third of a 630wh battery - definitely doable!
Thanks very much mate! I'm always a bit pushed for time and it looks like technology is providing a solution. Thanks for the info👍🏻

Thanks Neil!👊🏻 That's just what I was looking for. Looks like I better start saving then😅
At the end of the trail you can cross the road and take a path along the riverside most of the way back to Ballater.
Ah that would have been better. Thanks for the advice I'll do that next time👍🏻

@@TheFlowingScotsman Brilliant thanks will hold off on the Chopper for now then
@@roberttobin194 Noice! It's still better for giving backies and wheelies though😄
