Hi friends! This week was my first week of core. This term I am taking NURS110, 100, and 101L! 100 is Fundamentals and is the hardest of the 3, it is the lecture/theory portion of 101L; and both have weekly exams/assessments. I got a 100% on my first fundamentals exam, hopefully I can keep it going!! I am currently debating on opening up my instagram for you guys to follow me, I am kind of back and forth about it so if you maybe are interested in following me on instagram, let me know in the comments!!

I am starting in October, I was just wondering how many times a week you have class? I live about an hour away so I am just trying to gauge my commute/if i should move closer.
Hi honestly you’ll be in school like 2/3 days out of the week. And even if you live closer to school, WCU has a 50 mile radius for clinical sites so if you might get a site like 35 miles away from the schoo and you’ll have to commute at some point in the program inevitably. Hi would u say it’s worth just going straight into WCU idk if I wanna go cc route bc cheap or just faster route with wcu. I’m really stuck
Hi going straight into west coast is definitely faster if finishing faster is the appeal! However if you are coming straight from highschool I highly highlyyy recommend doing at least one semester SCIENCE course at a cc or maybe even 2 sciences courses at the same time. So you get that exposure to hard classes and develop a study method that works for you. Because wcu is really fast paced especially once you get to nursing core!! Keep in mind that a class at a cc is about 16 weeks but at west coast it is only 10 weeks! And at west coast it’s pretty much a unit per week, meaning 3-6 or (even more) chapters a week!

@@Andrea_Barry they told me I had to do 2 even though I only need the 3 required classes! They let you do them all together?
