He had such a screen presence in Only the Strong. The way he carried himself on screen and his dialogue really made him a memorable character in martial arts films. I always felt he would've been a good Vega in Street Fighter.

Paco is such an underrated actor. He should've got more main roles, as an antagonist as well as a protagonist. He is naturally talented and a very humble person as evident in this interview. In fact, between him and Mark, he is my preferred actor and character in OTS (Don't get wrong. I love Mark's performance too ) Love his accent and style in that movie. Great job in getting this interview with him, Viking Samurai. You never fail to surprise me. Never know who you will pull up next 😄👏👏👏

Silverio, was raw, straight to the point, in your face type villain with no cgi! I’m glad I was born in the mid 80’s, got to witness greatness happen throughout the late 90’s when it came to films… I’m forever thankful for those films I’ve watched growing up!
Great humbling experience watching this interview, Paco Prieto "The children are back from the plaaayyygrrround" the way a final boss should be!! Blessings!!

I see why too since he's more focused on his training. Only The Strong was one of my childhood movies I've seen many times and just had a great storyline and message to it. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE VILAIN CHARACTER OF ALL TIME is Paco/Silverio in Only the Strong even to this day!!! Between JCVD (my role model since I was 12, 34 years ago) seeing these two in the same scene in Liohheart was phenomenal!! Paco's performance in Only the Strong was Oscar worthy in my opinion. The basketball scene fight where Paco's in all black, pulls up and kicks Mark Dasacos's rear was the best part of the movie! Still Only the Strong is my favorite non Van Damme film! Paco if your reading this you and JCVD inspired me to the max when I'd go to the gym and crush it. Hope all is well and stay blessed! I think Paco was an underrated actor and should have been in several more films!!

You can tell Paco had some acting and performance skills from before, as his acting was pro level in Only the Strong - Sheldon's direction was also superb as displaying actors in the right light or angle can really make a difference. However it is also like what Van Damme once said, about making your performance great and the best it could be, so it doesn't get messed up in the editing room by an editor who may choose poor shots - Paco's performance was flawless in ONLY THE STRONG. Looking forward to seeing Paco return in the sequel - Maybe they could have a villain that is more powerful than Silverio but with a connection to Silverio, such a connection that Louis Stevens has to team up with Silverio, and they have to find a solution, and maybe they could bring Geoffry Lewis back, he's always great when he works with Sheldon . Great content again from you Viking!!!!

I would pass to see another “Only The Strong” film without the Salvario Character because his performance was amazing. He was my favorite character in the film because of his strong dominance and confidence. I always saw the Salvario character as a good guy and peaceful until you try to stop him from taking care of his family or neighborhood. His insanity to provide was righteous to him in some way.
Maybe with rehabilitation Salvario channels that love and compassion for the good in the next film! Maybe Master Frank Dux can play his Doctor in the film! Paco and Mark both put in a ton of overtime working together to get the fighting scenes down to perfection and pushed each other during training. Those two had to have been exhausted after it was all over. I heard that they went out for some smooth on the rocks scotch and whisky and had some cigars.
