I finally got privileges to upload videos more than 15 minutes long! Here's the first of hopefully many 15+ minute videos on my BnW series! This is all of Land 1 in it's entirety with no cuts like my previous videos.

Yes, that's the trick. The "why" is that when fields are built, they give a small production bonus to anything around it. So, if there are many small fields around a large one, that large one gets a multiplying production bonus, so it grows wheat faster than the villagers can harvest it. Two of these setups will likely maintain a population of 1000+
What I like about your video's, apart from the stellar building techniques and tips you provide, is that you don't waffle like others during your video's, you just play. It's really a pleasure to watch how you build and not have it on mute.

I personally think that it was funny that he put a Tavern and a University right next to each other.
Well, that's Black and White. To each his own. However, the Life miracle does just that - it brings life. Food sustains life. When Jesus fed an entire town from one basket of Fish and Bread, was that considered low and cheap? Or did people view it as a "miracle of life?" I like to believe the latter =) It's Black and White!
5) I am dropping everything I'm doing to create a video for you. It will prove that my technique of "too close together" is the perfect way to build in Black and White 2. Just because it looks like they won't be happy doesn't mean it is set in stone that way. Incorrect placement of key buildings will make or break my technique, and I've been playing since day 1 of release. I think I know what I'm doing.
6) Please make a video of yourself beating land 1 in under 1 hour like I just did. Your way.

1) When you have the building blueprint in your hand, instead of clicking the Action button to place it, click and hold the button and move your hand left and right to rotate.

The ghost army can die. They are a little bit better than regular armies, but nothing spectacular. And I believe if you try to heal them, they will just all die, since they are ghosts. I've never tried it myself. I normally do the quest last and get to the next land, just to get the tribute.
I don't know where you can download it, but you can most likely find it on Ebay or something. It seems people have a tough time getting this game nowadays...
Hehe, honestly I think that Nemesis would win. Undead God might have armies and might throw his miracles around, Nemesis still has a nasty power that can shrink his creature and he's also pretty damn cautious :P He defends all that is his and attacks anything that isn't his inside his influence. So while the Undead God is rlly good at fighting, he wouldn't be able to breach Nemesis' defences.
wow, i feel like i am watching an amature play this game, firstly instead of building roads u should be focusing on expanding your influence, secondly your houses are to close together your people are exceptionally unhappy, thirdly why haven't you could the routes gettin in and out ur city, this is amature at best
well i am trying to be on the good path but i am ending up in the bad path cause i am trying to take over villages XD UNFAIR!! kidding but yeah :D and i found this ghost army witch are helping me but i am not sure if they can die so yeah i am on both sides you could say :D its a really great game
Unfortunately, no, there is not. There was for a short time in the original, but they took it down for reasons unbeknownst to me.
You completed too fast in my opinion :P I might take 3-4 hours or so about completing but I usually have 1000+ population :D My record is 1657 adult population. The hard part is getting that many without winning the land first

@Jayxe Is this game harder than the first BnW? 'Cz for as far as I can remember by just finishing BnW2... BnW1 is harder than 2. So is this one harder than 1? 0.O

I explained it on my Building Reviews videos, but making many small ones around your big one increases the productivity a WHOLE bunch (from like 60 to 800) and from what I've experienced, the field gains more grain than the villagers pick. This means that you'll always have a full giant field and a constant massive grain income. If you look on some of my videos, I mouse over the small pile outside the store and it's sometimes 150,000 grain and more!

This is going to be fun...
1) Expanding influence for what reason? I do nothing outside my influence, I only build. There's nothing greener on the other side of my influence ring, which, by the way, expands when you build near its edge.
2) Exceptionally unhappy? Oh, I guess that's why the Happiness bar is constantly to the right. And probably why kids and adults skip down the roads. Could it also be why every building has a massive green smiley face on them?
I have a walkthrough with commentary. I don't like hearing my own voice, so I was a bit timid to do a commentated walkthrough, but I did it anyway due to high demand. Check them out on my channel!

Why do you put little fields around your big one
Well, let's see...1 hour gameplay plus 1-2 hours of editing plus 7-9 hours render time on Vegas 7.0 plus 2-3 hours to upload means...11-15 hours into 1 video. Out of 100+. Really, though, only 3 hours or so actually go into working on the video (gameplay + editing). The render and uploading part usually take place while I'm asleep or at work.

Lol, I figured that's what you meant. If you look closely, you'll see that those armies I threw fire at were not Undead like the others were. In this level, he has 1 town of Aztec, which remain human. If I threw a Heal at them, they'd be all "....oh, cool thanks!" But not with Fire...they're like "OH MY GO- *dead*"
My graphics are set to a high setting with 1024x768 resolution in these videos, but that was on my laptop.
Yes, you can win through impressiveness. In fact, that's how I win in every one of my videos.
This is the expansion to BnW2. It's called Battle of the Gods, and can be purchased on amazon . com. I don't know where it can be downloaded, though.

I don't get why you did not close the gates to aboid all those troops pooring in to your city.
Mishiara because otherwise, they'd sit outside my influence reach and pepper my walls with attacks, making my villagers relentlessly try and repair them, wasting all that ore and labor time. I much rather them funnel through the gate so I can quickly dispatch them manually without wasting any resources.
In that case, have you creature go damage the wonder. It can't be used if it's damaged.
Or, if you're feeling -really- cheap and don't care about how low this move is...Light a tree on fire, pick it up, and hold it over the wonder. It will damage the wonder from the heat of the tree. (You can't destroy the wonder, but damage it all the way down to 1 wood and 1 ore. This can also be used to kill enemy troops outside your influence).
I would recommend this game over any of the BnWs. The extra 3 lands (4 if you unlock the bonus land) are fun, the extra buildings makes the game more fun than the original, and did I mention it's more fun? Blacksmiths allow you to have instant max lvl armies, Lava miracles are mesmerizing, better lands allow more creative village layouts, and there's so much more. If you're thinking about it, go ahead and get it. You won't be disappointed =)

I've been thinking about doing that. I just bought a new (kinda cheap) headset, but that would mean I'd be going back and doing all 12 lands again on BnW2 and the expanion. I also want to do the same thing with BnW1 because that was the pioneer, and Land 2 was the most awesome land because of the tribe you're given at the beginning. Maybe I'll do a Let's Play of BnW1.
And, could that be the reason why some villagers stop and clap for me when I zoom in on them? Or, maybe the reason the number 0 and the % sign sits next to every need in the city by the time I take over the last land. Yeah, I would be exceptionally unhappy with those things as well.
3) ....Do you need a dictionary? I would try to prove you wrong on that statement if I could understand it.
4) The only thing "amateur" about this is the way you spelled that word. It seems you DO need a dictionary..

29:40 how you use life miracle, or other? i mean you don't use panel or altar. It's hotkeys?
Yes, M brings up the miracles to show you the gestures for your unlocked miracles. R replicates the last miracle used, so you can just press R to use life after life

Battle of the Gods is an expansion. You need to purchase it to play it (it requires Black and White 2 to play)

Yes, that would be pretty awesome! However, I think Nemesis would ultimately loose to the Undead god due to the potential of a sudden loss of control if the Undead throws his arsenal of miracles towards his enemies. I've restarted many times because I forgot/didn't see the miracles coming and it was too late =(

:D! I just got an awesome idea! What if we let this Aztec god and Nemesis from BnW1 fight eachother?! :) Nemesis was pretty damn strong after all :P He pwned Khazar big time.
How where you able to make the straight and those prefect curves. Is it a mod or am I just missing something?

I’ve learned so much watching you play and I’ve beat the game multiple times I’d love to see you do another run at this but winning with armies that would be fun

Thanks for the sub! And just hold the Modifier key (normally the forward slash or question mark key). Then you can make your roads straight or curve around buildings.
