Good to know I have a Reptillanne Synchro deck and had the opportunity to negate both sharks effects but (thinking they was going squid ) I wastes the chance and damn near decked him out till he drew that last exoida card
I said it in the chat when this happened and I will say here, there is more of a chance that someone would still attack crook even if it was negated here than not because hardly anyone reads Crooked Cook (or Yugioh Cards in General.)
It's a good thing the Royal Cook was able to find a new home with Coder after leaving the UK for being suspiciously excited to make something for the Queen before passing away
Even if skill drain wasn’t there crooked cook would not be unaffected because you control other cards.
Also the person who thought you could turn off skill drain was probably thinking you can negate it with imperm.
Even though you couldn't with Imperm, if they'd read the card.
Anyways, yeah idk what Coder was doing when he started that first game, or any time he brought out Crooked Cook, because he had other cards on the field and Crooked Cook's effect only works when its basically the only card you control. Oh well, I guess. Lol.
You can. If you imperm the sky prison it turns it off via colum. Works in edo pro and that's supposed to be the ruling God

I remember being there for the hunt for Brave. It was kinda exhausting to see all those URs and SRs that you can't dismantle. I kinda wish we had the ability to trade Legacy Pack pulls with other players. I have two Penguin Braves in MD, I'd give them to Coder for something.
As great as that idea is and would definitely want something like that to be implemented, they're not going to do that for Master Duel because it'll take away from their money-making off of people buying Gems to use for card packs. Its so dumb I can't dismantle certain cards, especially when the number of those cards reach over 3. Like, I don't need 4 to 5 copies of Photon Strike Bounzer, Adreus, or Obsidian Hawk Joe so let me dismantle 1 or 2 of them so I can have three copies of each, at least.
Trading cards with players would definitely make things easier in Master Duel and I would love for it to be implemented, but it would take away from people spending money on the game when buying Gems to then use on card packs to try and get the cards they want. So Konami definitely isn't going to allow trading in the game unless they can somehow make a monetary profit off of it. Just a sad reality there, that's all. :(
We should at least be able to exchange copies over 3 for more legacy pack tickets
@@A.LeMayo Well I personally don't care about Legacy Packs too much since they usually don't hold really good cards all too often, and you can't dismantle any of them.
But I see your point. Any cards like those kind over 3 copies, like if I have 4 copies of a card I can't dismantle, I should be able to exchange it for some sort of card pack or pack ticket; if not outright get the crafting points from it.

It agree that it wouldn’t kill Konami to let us do a Dust 10 Legacy Cards of a given rarity to generate 1 copy of a Legacy Card we want. Would be a reason not to feel Legacy Tickets are worthless, anyways.

I play zombies, so I usually out it by summoning something with succer to their field, then super polying for necro dragon or dragostapelia

Ah yes, Crooked Cook. I remember my opponent surrendering immediately the moment I started swinging directly to their LPs when they brought it out. Better yet, when I start piercing.

I went through something like this using swordsoul deck. Since I couldn't scratch my opponent with attacks I kept using baron de fleur and other effects to bring the sword soul strategist back to the field and re synchro summoning to keep burning.
I pulled a royal rare final countdown, so I'm sorry for making a crooked cook stall deck; but I kind of had to.

Should have set imperm in the same column as skill drain on the first match, then you could negate his golden lord and his skill drain in one go
The only possible way that second guy could have won is if he level modulated Denglong into a level 6, had Mo Ye and another wyrm in hand, used Mo Ye's effect, and synchro summoned Chengying. So there was a chance for him to win, but Coder would have to get very unlucky.
Mo Ye and the token are water. But what he could've done is level modulated Denglong into a lv 1 to use it as a synchro for Chixiao.
@@deathpyre42 Gozen match forces you to only use one kind of attribute, and because of Kragen's effect Denglong was treated as a water monster, so he could only have summoned water monsters

You literally could have turned off skill drain for a turn if you set the imperm in its column. You forgot imperm's second effect and it cost you the duel.

You can't activate Infinite Impermanence. Reason: You can't negate an already negated effect

You can set imperm in the Skilled Drain Column and then target heavenly God, which makes the Skilled negated, then you can Zues all the field. I don't know is it correct?

You can't negate skill drain with imperm column? Why not?
You cannot negate the effects of already negated monsters. Since imperm *has* to negate it's target, you cannot legally activate it if you cannot. This is different from a card like droplet where you must half their attack and then their effects are negated. You can still activate droplet because the only thing you *have* to do is half the attack, and then the card tries to resolve as much as possible.

Sky strikers (hayate)and zoodiacs (boarbow) can attack directly
Heros link 3 does pierce. Thunder charger does pierce so rank 5(eldlich and cyber dragonz) and rank 6 (virtual world and drytrons) decks can pierce

@Fuzzy Hoops That's not the reason why. Effect monsters are still effect monster even when their effects are negated so you do still have a legal target, however you cannot negate the effects of an already negated monster so you cannot resolve imperms effect, which is why you cannot activate it.
When the cook is crooked
Would skill drain be a “fair” card if they changed it to be “Once per turn: You can negate the effects of all face-up monsters currently on the field until the End Phase.” Instead of it being a continuous effect, it’d be now a chainable activation, kinda like the Sunavalon Bloom?
