Hi! Excellent presentation and review of your Smythson writing folder in A5! I currently have a few queries: 1) Will you consider the snap-closure newer version of the writing folder? Will you get it in A4 or A5 - and which colour? 2) Did you buy any other Smythson products so far - e.g. their refillable notebooks? I realised the dimensions of those refillable notebook leather covers are not in standard sizes of A4/A5. As such, I’m not sure if you know whether normal standard refills would work in theirs? Or do we have to buy their Smythson paper refills to fit into those Refillable Notebook Cover in Ludlow?
@@cavan_goh hello! Thank you for watching ☺️ I considered the snap closure when I bought mine as it was start of season so the store had both in stock, but mine was on a good sale so went with this one! The snap closure would definitely be most secure if you want to carry the pad on the go! I haven’t bought other smythson items so can’t comment unfortunately xx
@@littleluxuries_01 your welcome your reviews are very good and fair, not alot of people know that the Smythson family were originally Smith but Benjamin C Smythson was an actor and used to own a theatre which is known today as the Odeon in Leicester Square but there was already a Benjamin C Smith acting at that time so he changed it to Smythson and the name has been Smythson ever since but his father was William Smith. Benjamin Christian Smythson was Frank John Smythson (who started Smythson of Bond Street) grandad. Sorry if I bored you but thought you would be interested how the Smythson family name came about, Have a good day All the best Danny
Hi there, curious if you could comment on whether this Taupe colour veers towards warm or cool? In one of your videos it looks more grey. On the Smythson website, its looks very warm, closer to a beigey-nude. Thanks in advance.
Hi! Oo that’s quite tricky to answer - I think slightly more on the warm side. I think it’s quite a classic taupe (rather than a cooler grey shade). Xx

@@Danny.1.007 interesting! And even more interesting that it isn’t pronounced ‘smith’son haha 😊 thanks for sharing the history x
That is very true the funny thing is my sister married a Smith so she has taken the name full circle and back to what it was originally 😀
