  • Woolwich station opens onto a generous forecourt and the greenery of Dial Arch Square. The station includes design references to the history of the Royal Arsenal site including cladding to the exterior with a pattern of memorial coins which were produced at this location for the families of the fallen in the Great War. Red and blue, and red, blue and yellow features on the platform as nods to the Royal Engineers and Royal Artillery and brickwork in the ticket hall gives a modern interpretation of the historic buildings nearby.
