If you have a baby budgie which you have bred from a pair of budgies at home, it's important to allow the parents to do most of the caring.The chicks are born blind and without feathers, so they are very vulnerable to environmental factors, such as light, heat, cold, and wet. They should stay in the nesting box for the first few weeks The chick's parents will care for it as best as they can, but you should regularly check on the health and development of the chick. Once the chick starts coming out of the nest on his own, you can help the process of weaning along, and then help him leave the nest. Once you notice the chick coming out of the nest, you should provide a shallow dish of food and place it at the bottom of the cage. The chick will start eating the food from the dish, beginning the weaning process.

I have 2 baby budgies, 11 days old and doing great. Their mother is a first time mamma and is an all star mother. I’m very proud of her, lol. This is my first time going through this too and it’s such a great experience, watching them grow. I bought formula just in case, haven’t had to use it yet. Mamma bird let’s me handle babies, I think she knows they’re safe with me. Keep fingers crossed for the little guys, so far so good.

I hope you’re feeding all your budgies large amounts of fresh chop greens 🥬 and vegetables every morning and saving the seeds for three times a week. The parents are Dominant Pied (Single Factor) Sky Blue.
The baby seems to be a Double Factor Sky Blue Dominant Pied (And probably of the Porrly Marked Variety).
That in it of itself is pretty rare and it's beautiful. To call it simple and plain shows your poor Pessimistic views on Budgie Genetics

I have a problem. My baby budgies are around a month old but none of them have come out of their nesting box. Also, I haven't socialised them, or even took them out to get used to me, because I use an earthen pot instead of a box and it near the ceiling so the only way in is the tiny hole thing. Should I take the baby budgies out once in a while because I heard hand tamed birds are more interested in humans. Should I just hold them and let them run around a bit out of their cage?

One of my budgies had 6 babies. The other one was on eggs that were infertile and did not hatch. I pulled 2 of the bigger chicks from one mom and gave them to the one trying to hatch her infertile eggs. She sort of took care of the 2 babies but whenever i checked, their crop wasn't full. At about 2 1\2 wks. I pulled them both and am now hand feeding full time i.e., about every 4 hrs round the clock until they are around 4 or 5 wks. I use Katee Exact and follow the directions of the package to the letter. Heating the formula to the correct temp is very important and I use a digital thermometer every time. It has to be between 104 and 110 deg F, about 5 seconds in the microwave and stir, stir, stir afterward. I heat it up for each bird as it cools off kind of fast.

My budgie’s eggs won’t come out, it looks like she has more than 10 eggs but they won’t come out, and it has been about a month. This happened 3 or 4 months ago too, when she had laid another set of eggs.

Vocaloid Nightcore No they’re not stuck. I checked, but the last time she bred there was one stuck inside of her. But she just comes out to eat and drink like a normal bird.

My bird's just run away . My brother removes the bird if we have change them to another cage .because they hit other birds .so like departing them .today like this white female one hit otthers baby bird so my brother came running to save the baby . So the mother and father were happy by my brother's work.
