Very good compilations, MerollaPhoto! The animals were sure pretty, huh? I knew most if not all of the things that were talked about by the tour guides just by doing my own research and not being a tourist in any "Amish country". We need to remember that they are humans, too and have their own lives, and are not zoo animals to oohed and awwwed at. Society at large has really made a living off presenting the Amish as so different and a curiousity to be admired or looked-down upon for their lack of technology and such literal translation of the Bible and their religion. I frankly find the Amish to be very refreshing. It's nice to know that there are those out there who are willing and able to take a step back and take life a little slower and put more value on family and relationships and good, old fashioned hard work. There were some things that I didn't know, so those things were nice to learn. The first Amish house looked like it could be a Swartzentruber Amish house or a Swiss Old Order Amish house. The second one looked like it could be a conservative Old Order Amish house or a more liberal Old Order Amish house. Most kids are homeschooled, especially in places where there's not a lot of families in a church district or not many church districts in one settlement (ie. Todd County, Minnesota, Harmony, Minnesota, and other smaller settlements in Ohio and Pennsylvania) to warrent the use and expense of a schoolhouse and teacher. Final thoughts: Very good farm, very good job by the tour guides. Great video over all. Thanks for posting!
I enjoyed the film, however, they need to use a different person to wear the bodycam. Whoever the person was that wore the bodycam, had so many horrible sniffs, annoying voice, and heavy breathing quite like a farm animal, along with all their equipment clacking together. Very annoying sounds throughout the video.

Jessie Cochran - the Bible is meant to be taken literally (except Revelation which is written symbolically), there’s no other way to read it.
That lady screaming and making all her noises is very annoying
So true, ruined the whole video.
The screaming is very very rude !
Are those antique blue cupboards or did they build them?
