There IS such a thing as self defense against a police constable assaulting you or attempting to assault you. One of them even went after a woman who was just recording. They've made it much more serious an offense now to assault an emergency worker, usually resulting in prison time, so it should also go the other way too where if you're assaulted by a police constable they'd face just as serious consequences.
This is why the police have become a huge waste of money. They lowered the entry requirements for the police and this proves why they should have never changed it. Any two cops in the old school of policing would have dealt with this far easier.
