  • The NAACP of The Oranges and Maplewood, NJ, under the presidency of Darryl Jeffries, joined forces with the 501(c)(3) Racial Bias Dot Org, Inc. (www.RacialBias.org) founded by Leland Hardy to launch "Jazz For Social Justice™," (www.JazzForSocialJustice.org) the annual worldwide music tour featuring the Co-writer and arranger of what Rolling Stone Magazine called "one of the 500 greatest songs of all time," Grammy 'Song of the Year' and MTV 'Video of the Year' nominee, "Jesus Walks."
"Jazz for Social Justice" was created to use the universal power of music to tamp down violence in our communities, to bridge the divides that exist between people and cultures, and to fight against hate in all of its forms. Look for a star studded concert stop coming to a town near you soon!
