I thought doing the whole "Noko's Beacons" victory condition was way too much, would take way too long to do. However, I am in the midst of my own campaign and things went super well after a few very close calls early on, steam-rolling everything and I still have 13 turns before act 2 happens (used every waste HOTtile so he has some land to cover). So I'm thinking of changing my win condition over to that, since I'm 1 turn from Tarri and have the 10 ravager crystals already. Will the tarri arena allow me to fight the Phoenix? In what ways can I encounter the phoenix other than the caravan event? (I ran into it super early so there was no chance at doing it). it says in later tiers of Tarri's arena to fight the lowest unvanquished boss (minimum of level 3), of which I killed every boss except boss 5, 8, and 9, some bosses I killed multiple times (Poor pangolin boss, 3 times dead). Either way, this game has taken 5 hours so far, actually more like 6, that's not including unpacking and refreshing on the rules for my first SoS playthrough. And the Noko win-condition does seem like a condition dependent on you doing well enough that you have both the turns and the power to spare since it requires you to also beat boss 8.
