And the end didn’t resolve anything, it just made it seem like Pinkie was being unreasonable! So a lot of fans think Pinkie is the bad guy, when in reality it’s her friends for not communicating!
There a lot more neurodivergent people who have high empathy than people think, it’s just because some people don’t know how to express it that people think that autistic people are not caring 😒. also the heightened sense of justice is so real 😭

As someone who processes information like rainbow was amazing to watch this episode for the first time and i always used to get in trouble or yelled at as a kid when i didn't learn the same way like the other kids but eventually it got a bit easier and im 18 now and still struggle a bit but ive learned slowly overtime its okay to learn a bit slower than others because learning is different ❤
I remember crying and getting frustrated every time I had to learn math or do math homework. I’m sorry that you were yelled at, though. You didn’t deserve that. ❤
Pffft, yeah! He is certainly more of a cliche of autism…however, he still seems more respectful than Sheldon’s representation. Mudbriar is more off-putting, especially to someone like Pinkie, not necessarily arrogant or mean.

People dislike Mudbriar, but I don't feel like he did anything wrong (at least not purposefully). He just communicates in a clear and literal way and people don't know how to handle it.
It's no wonder I got obsessed with MLP when I was younger. Almost all the ponies are autistic and/or queer coded, and as an autistic queer person, that makes me feel so seen. Especially by a kids show

As a fellow autistic, I can relate to quite a few of these! I had honestly never heard of RSD prior to this, but after looking it up, I’m almost positive I have that. It would explain so many of the things I find uncomfortable.
Thank you for stating that this is from YOUR experiences, it's easier to understand where it comes from considering Autism is a spectrum. The intro song is also beautiful. However, I will comment on some parts also because I was diagnosed with ASD at 5: 0:27 I don't have any phobias (I don't think I do), I mean, there was one point I was scared of elephants, but it was never a long-term phobia. And the little joke Twi was told is actually the way I goof off with my sister. 0:47 I do kind of sound like that, but I don't emphasize every word, it's definitely smoother. however, the clarification is on point. 1:09 I'm fine with group projects, yet I'm definitely gonna tell them about some of my techniques I think will help, so that's not a problem for me. Although, I usually plan to keep a studying routine, but the time I take will be longer or shorter depending on how much work there is. 1:40 I like how this is recognized. I actually used to be more emotionally sensitive/empathetic as a kid, but I still got diagnosed. Emotions aren't the first thing most people think of when they hear the word "autistic", so I like that this is there. 1:55 I do write stuff down on a google doc to make sure I have it, but I can get it done from memory. I don't think this scene is exclusive to Autistic people, but basically any organized person out there. The early part is me when I come to a class (where there is only a couple people in there), I wonder if I'm too early. 3:02. Yesssss it’s not talked about often enough. I even feel empathy for objects! As a funny example, when I was younger, if there was a last piece of anything, like a roll or piece of cake, my family would tease me and tell me the piece “felt sad” and “was lonely”, usually causing me to eat it, even if I was full. 😂

Honestly, it just took me throwing up to realize it wasn’t as bad as I thought. My phobia also came from my general anxiety disorder, so the emetephobia was more the house that my anxiety lived in. What helped me was trying to think of the worst case scenario - which, honestly, wasn’t that bad. And the experience, of course. But, if you have some sort of trauma, that may not work for you.
@ Yeah, last holidays I ended up getting a stomach bug and at the time it wasn’t as bad as I thought, but since it lasted one whole night it still felt triggering.

I’m sorry that that happened, though - I remember when I got sick for the first time since developing the phobia, I was shaking and felt terrible from both being sick and being anxious. :(
This must be why i love pinkie so much Her joy and love of fun always made me feel better. The fact that she has difficulty understanding queues aswell was always relatable to me, and how she reacts when her friends seemingly reject her or dont include her in activities is exactly how i feel with my friends Ive always been that person to prioritise my relationships over all else, and i would often feel really sad or anxious when im not included in my friends activities, which is something i was actively experiencing every day when i was younger, so she sort of acted as my comfort character during those times. At the time, pinkie was everything i was and aspired to be, always making everyone laugh and being the person to put a smile on peoples faces. Shes still my favourite character because of that
The more I watch the show, the more I realize that Pinkie is super relatable to me. I LIVE to make my friends laugh, I feel anxious and sad when I feel like I’m being rejected, and I sometimes take jokes too far. Twilight Sparkle is also pretty relatable to me as well!

And yes the last one it was like for me whenever I had a special interest everyone always hated it like when I liked alvin and the chipmunks or eddsworld etc and I tried to find ways to hide it.

I stand by that everyone in the mane 6 are some flavour of neurodivergence, with a decent amount of representation in the side characters as well. I really wish I could watch it, because it has things I like, but it's slow and has a tendency to make things horribly awkward, which I can appreciate is close to real life, but I watch shows to get away from reality not force myself to boil in it

@lizmccullen1411 From my understanding, it's mostly just to block YT's system of automatically marking certain videos as "for kids," putting them on the kids' app as well as locking comments and disallowing miniplayer. Not to stop any minors from actually seeing it
@@lizmccullen1411 Just as another commenter said, my only concern is the comments being switched off. Also, I have an adult perspective, adult vocabulary, and an adult experience. Those this may be APPROPRIATE for kids, this isn’t exactly FOR them.

I stand by that everyone in the mane 6 are some flavour of neurodivergence, with a decent amount of representation in the side characters as well. I really wish I could watch it, because it has things I like, but it's slow and has a tendency to make things horribly awkward, which I can appreciate is close to real life, but I watch shows to get away from reality not force myself to boil in it
