This was peak creativity in South African Hip Hop culture. The lyrical content, visual storytelling resonated with a lot of 'kids' at the time. Everyone sounded like themselves and the infusion of kwaito elements in songs won everyone's heart. Something that is missing in today Hip Hop culture, everyone sounds like Carti, Travis Scott, Young thug.

Facts!!
Very true
🤣🤣You don't listen to South African hip hop and that's okay. Priddy, CPT, Reece, Saul, 25, Shane, Doe Boy, Dee Koala, SimulationxRaps, Notshi the list goes on....
No laitie you are still young if you going to list these MCs. I would give you the benefit of the doubt with YoungstaCPT, he is original. You know what he is about and what he stands for. The others are just knockoffs of American culture. Their lyrical content is exactly what rappers in the US are talking about. That’s why it doesn’t resonate with the masses.
Ricky was in his bag here man - RIP legend
Damn I feel like crying, time flies neeh 🥺 music just ain't the same anymore
Yeah that's what they used to say back in the 90s...

This track is by far the great work from Ricky Rick and now the music he is making is just for now and not the future. Artist can easily get lost on all the bul in the shit that is happening around them and the industry.
