This is an interesting port. Different from the consoles and has Rhino instead of Anti-Venom. Doc Ock looks more in line with Ultimate despite being in Amazing universe and it has more bosses.
Not a port but it's own version. I like that Other Ocean Interactive wanted to do a 2D Metroidvania on DS but unfortunately the results weren't good. The biggest advantage it has over the console version is all the exclusive bosses it has as the console version BARELY had any.
Somehow, I’m really liking the RoboCop and Blade Runner atmosphere in the Spider-Man 2099 era. And the future villains in this game look really fresh in idea form. I wish the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions had more villains/bosses besides Peter Parker 2099, Atrocity, Anti-Venom, Black Cat 2099, Walker Sloan, and Doc Ock altogether.
I can’t believe this is real someone told me they used rhino instead And I was like they did what!! Compared to the console version yeah it’s very different.
Honestly the biggest problem I had with the console version of this game was that all the boss fights were with anti-venom except for the one at the end. I wish some of these bosses would’ve been brought into the console version.
Great video my friend. I was really looking forward to this version it being a 2D Metroidvania but Other Ocean Interactive (X-Men Destiny, South Park Tenorman's Revenge) unfortunately dropped the ball with it as it turned out REALLY mediocre, not to mention a buggy map where you don't line up with where you are many times. It's biggest positive are all the exclusive villains that were added to it since the console version barely had any. Anti-Venom, Black Cat 2099, Atrocity and one other that I don't want to say to avoid spoilers while the DS version had Menace, Big Wheel 2099, Rhino, Overdrive 2099, Shocker, and Arcade 2099.
i saw your comment on the Amazing Spider-Man DS bosses video too and I was wondering, between the two Other Ocean DS games which one would you consider good or at least decent? I played all the handheld spider-man games and I'm a huge fan of a couple titles on GBA (Mysterio's Menace, Spider-Man 1, honourable mention to the rest minus Battle for New York) and DS (Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions, and an honourable mention to Ultimate Spider-Man) ..but would you actually say the other ocean titles are worse than even the low points on gba/ds?
The 3ds was so much better, i can't believe they pulled that free roam 3d kind of game look off on the 3ds that game was the best coolest 3ds game i ever played!!!
8:43 THOSE TENTACLES WERE COMING FROM SOME KIND OF I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL THAT ATROCITY!
The comic booky art style really made me fall in love with this game as kid ! Even today still looks amazing !

It’s kinda weird that Rhino looks like a gray version of the Tick with a horn.

I guess Walker Sloan’s contribution to the Atrocity body was his knowledge of centaurs from Greek mythology.
Very interesting roster of villains bot Amazing & 2099 Spidey fought in this version of Edge of Time.
They sure manage to find rare villains.
This game was a nightmare to develop. If you only knew...
How come?
Wait you helped make it?
Tell us more
@curtiworx919 what do you mean by that?
Explain what happened
Holy cow somebody remembered this game!!!
Overdrive 2099 and Menace are the weirdest characters I've ever seen in my entire life.
Arcade 2099 is the best boss in the whole game
And for some reason he was the toughest for me as a kid
@@jarred1k579He has 2 lives and he inverts your screen lmao
I can’t believe this is real someone told me they used rhino instead And I was like they did what!! Compared to the console version yeah it’s very different.
This is hella nostalgic oh my god
1:02 YOU'LL BE THE ONE WHO GETS IT! RHINO!

I never played the console version and i remember i wanted to play it so bad but i only had an ds

Can someone make a video of all the cutscenes of this game and the ds version of shattered dimensions while their at it.
So In the ds atrocity is rhino slone and doc ock
But anywho else it’s slone doc ock and anti venom
Why……
Atrocity's theme is straight up just Albert Wesker's from RE5 how did a marvel game even get away with this
yes
You’re right how on earth did this get overlooked
Can someone upload the track of arcade 2099 boss fight
0:44 RHINO?!
So nostalgic
For the ds spiderman lineup, I more liking the shattered dimension style though.
i think that is a classic spider man edge of time sponsor on nintendo DS
Why the hell was Shocker the hardest boss in the game?
The 3ds was so much better, i can't believe they pulled that free roam 3d kind of game look off on the 3ds that game was the best coolest 3ds game i ever played!!!
I think this game was better than the 3DS version!
That's because this was a 2D platformer/ Metrovinia. While the other was a port from the console version.
Atrocity isn’t even Scary in this Version of the Game
I liked this version too but the bosses health bar was extremely annoying like get it out of the way I CAN'T SEE
Not gonna lie I’m pretty sure Eddie was better than Aleksie
Between Symbiote Atrocity and cybernetic centaur Atrocity, I prefer Symbiote Atrocity.
