What we can understand from this video is this:. Rich farmers having large land holdings should opt for recharging borewells and go for digging small ponds in their fields wherever it is possible to collect rainwater, so that farmers are assured of enough water for growing crops even if rain fall is insufficient and uncertain. It is intelligent management of natural resources and rain water. Farmers should also understand that growing trees alongside the borders of their farm land is very important and urgent to ensure regular rain fall in their region. Village panchayats should build small and medium-sized ponds and maintain them properly to augment water resources. NGOS and public should also.contribute to improve the available resources and make all Villages self sufficient about water requirements. This is the need of the hour.
