Tip: if you do not like that jupyter lab does not complete (parenthesis, square brackets, curly braces, quotes) then you can do (Settings -> Auto Close Brackets)
That was a perfect intro in Jupyter lab. I have used Jupyter lab and I never knew these features existed. Pretty good features you have shown us. Gonna use these goody features that I am going to enjoy. I did have Python3, R, and Julia, and it worked really good as it should be when run, but better in Jupyter Lab/Notebook.
I am just a little bit worried whether once Jupyter Lab is installed will I be able to combine or use separately traditional Jupyter notebook and Jupyter Lab at one and the same computer ?
How would it work if you make an environment (virtualenv) and open jupyter lab from the env folder? Can jupyter lab recognize the installed packages in the env or do they need to be installed globally?
@@lawrencedoliveiro9104 I like doing that, and adding in some HTML items, like , , , , and especially, just to kind of give context to my code that is a little more elegant than an inline comment.
Hmm - nice tutorial but Jupyter Lab is like "let fork notebooks and add a heap of random cuteness - everyone wants to execute Python in Markdown these days". Its like the time I installed Twitter on my toothbrush...

great video! thank you. It definitely gave me an good overview of what Jupyter is all about.
wow... can not wait to get back to my notebook and try all these things
3:19 Just tried, and no, regular Jupyter does not allow dragging cells around a notebook.
Gracias. Corto, concreto y conciso!
i will surely be interested in looking into vim bindings video and stuff

You a good speaker.
I don't get what I need, but you not bad)
how could cells be referenced/linked to each other between different notebooks?
does it have integrated "SageMath"?
how can an external LaTex file be called/included/embedded in a JupyterLab cell?

Did you figure this out? Im having this issue
Do you know how to hide code in Jupiter Notebook or markdown file so that the exported HTML doesn’t have code
I'm not a python programmer but even that markdown stuff was interesting!
You can have markdown cells interspersed with code ones in a notebook.

And don’t forget, the Notebook API lets you dynamically generate rich output from Python code.
Very good tips!
Needed this
Very good Thx.
The wine :)
can you make a video about dvc(data version control)
can you make a video on JupyterLite
That was awesome!
Thanks man!
you forgot to turn on the built-in dark mode
So… does this man just know everything?
I honestly think he does 😅
