WaterField's community-designed Hip Sling Bag collection in an upscale trio of practical packs with interchangeable straps that offer the versatility of either a belt bag or a trendy crossbody. FEATURES
To address the various use cases customers described, WaterField designed three sizes and two dual-compartment styles. Four pockets in the spacious main compartment of the Full and Compact Hip Sling Bags include a padded pocket for an iPad mini (Compact) or a 10.5-inch iPad Pro (Large) and a padded, scratch-free, zippered pocket for glasses or other delicate items.
The Mini Hip Sling Bag is ideal for the minimalist who prefers the hands-free convenience of a waist belt or sling to overstuffed pockets. Large pleats keep the Mini slim enough to hide under a jacket while holding just the bare essentials and expand the bag’s capacity by 50% when needed.
All three sizes share the unique features of a gold, water-repellent liner that makes it easy to locate items, moisture-wicking padding on the back for comfort, high-quality metal hardware, waterproof zippers, and a 12-inch leashed key fob that keeps keys safely tucked in their own pocket and extends far enough to allow keys to be used without detaching them from the bag. For ultimate flexibility, users may choose from two hi-tech, easy-to-adjust straps: a waist-only or an adjustable waist-to-sling strap. The website mentions that the small camera like Leica will fit into the compact size bag. Would be good to know if it's meant with the lens, and if so, what length of the lens. I have a leica m10 with 28mm lens and wondering if that will fit comfortably or 'barely'.
Hi Piotr, This from one of our designers: "Depth of the compact Hip Sling Bag is 2.25 inches. Leica M10 with a 28mm lens is about 3 inches deep. I’d say that the camera + lens would fit comfortably because the bag is significantly larger than the camera + lens in both the horizontal and vertical directions, so it would pretty easily flex around the camera even though the bag’s depth is a little thinner than the camera + lens. With the Leica M10, I think that any lens up to around 1.5 inches in length should be pretty comfortable. Any lens that’s longer...mileage may vary."
Can you please provide the dimensions for these particular bags. I would like to know their actual sizes (compact preferably). I believe I will be getting the mason edc pouch because of the design, the size, and the way the strap sits, but am wondering about these bags too. Thanks

There’s not a great deal between the compact & the sutter sling or am I missing something (price notwithstanding) ?
Do you mean the Sutter Tech Pouch? The Compact Hip Sling Bag is much more versatile as it can be worn around the waist as well - and the strap is much more complex and flexible too. It also includes a front zippered compartment, a padded compartment for an iPad Mini and a plush glasses pocket, + other details not included in the Sutter Pouch. I hope that helps!
Hi WaterField Designs! I'm needing a small bag to fit a small mini PC that has these dimensions: 6.2" x 9" x 1" thickness. Will the Full Size be able to accommodate it?
Hi, It's a close call. The horizontal and vertical circumference of the iPad 11-inch is 19.96/14.52 and your PC is 20/14.4, so technically it may. The concern I have is that pocket is made for a slim iPad and your PC is one inch thick. It certainly should fit into the *main compartment* but may or may not fit into the dedicated device pocket. @@Farhanif Hi, are you using it as sling? Will the short strap works well on sling or will be be too short?
@@luqmans7 I got both the long and short straps.
I use the short strap for sling as I prefer to wear it very snug.
For the long strap, there are a lot of extra "belt" if I tight it down when wearing it on my hip (I'm a 5'5" Asian with 34" hip size for reference).
