  • Jacques Bienstock describes his life as a teenager during the Holocaust. After escaping Nazi-occupied Paris, he takes refuge in the remote farmland of Ceyroux, France. When he arrived there at the end of June 1942, Ceyroux was in the Free zone. But the threat of roundups persisted. This is an extract from 1997 testimony recorded by Steven Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah project.
