Hi Jamie, I was mistaken. The model I saw for £99 only printed A3, it didn't do A3 photocopy/scan like the version in this video. I think it was a version before this one was released. Hi Nick ! We bought the scanner and we are satisfied with the purchase.The maschine is realy big and we just can not stop looking at it.We have tested the scan with the OCR program works great.Thank you for video.
Interesting to see you haven't mentioned the delay between copying several sheets of A4. Up to 30 seconds wait time before the printer finishes whatever it needs to do before it is ready to work again. Same with printing. I was taken in by the single sheet feed at the back as I have to print 2 copies when invoicing (1 for client and 1 for book keeper). The A3 also drew me as it was going to be handy for copying floor plans, etc, but knowing what I know now I'd have got another HP.

I print a lot of tabloids and I'm a graphic designer so I was eyeing on this printer because it's on sale on a mall near us. Nice review btw. Very professional. how many sheets of paper can you auto feed at once for scanning? I do animation so being able to just put a stack of paper in the feeder would help me time wise
Hi Nick!We would like to buy this printer, but we are wondering about format of the scanner.We will be editing scans and 90% of the scans will be text.Many times when you want to edit text you have more problems than if you would just rewrite the text from the book by hand,because this would be a new buy for us,we want to make sure we buy what we need,Your presentation is very good.Bye
Hi Hanzo Thank you for your comment! The Brother J6510DW printed decent-quality photos. However, this was primarily a document printer. For photos, we would recommend an Inkjet printer. Hope this helps Thank you The Printerbase Team
8/10 point. A3 from back confused machine( if you primaly using a4). You can only turn off machine to put off plug in. Genius Software:) Plastic parts are very light. Cheap ink cartridges and papers.

I'd love to be able to SCAN in A3 (aka open a workbook and scan in both sides), but then print them out in A4.... aka- scan in pg.4-5 of a book, but then have it print out separately on A4s- pg. 4 and then pg.5. I know this is a tricky question. Does such functionality exist?
i have this one and it has error af (error in the scann tools) after 3months used. have to replace the scanner to fix it....aaaand sparepart not available here...

Nice machine. printing photos at A3 looking very good from Pentax and Nikon dsrl. BP71 paper cost about euro per sheet and xxl cartridges 3-4 euros.
why is the mfcj6510dw "discontinued" is it phased out already or bad reviews?
I have this Printer and it is rubbish! It does not physically fit A3 paper and CONSTANTLY jams. Any advice?

Very nice video! but i dont like that changing a3 to a4. One time OK second time ok but after a while it's getting annoying.
The quality of scan it's really poor. I am illustrator. Could you help to increase the quality setup intructions?
