As far as I'm concerned OP did the right thing exposing her sister she was extremely ungrateful and a gold digger her ex-fiance dodged a huge bullet and even if she didn't come from a prominent family I'm sure the in-laws would have accepted her but the fact that she lied about it and use her sister for her own selfish gain I don't blame them for cutting ties.
