It's crazy to think the tram tour has been running for 60 years, but there's so much history that's taken place on the backlots. The anniversary tram has brought a lot of Disneyheads over, and it is such a common sight now to see families practically coated in Disney merch making a point to buy USH annual passes.
Also, really funny how often they're amazed by the complete lack of a reservation system.😊

Such a great presentation (as usual). I love watching you guys! My last trip to Universal Hollywood was in June, 1965; I was 9. I remember seeing 1313 Mockingbird Lane before it was Wisteria Lane. We got to see the Munster's house, as well as a walking-tour through the indoor Munster's set. We also got to visit the sets for McHale's Navy. When we went, the tour was new; it started in 1964. The "Hollywood Star" dressing room we got to see belonged to Yvonne De Carlo (Lily Munster). And the "star" we met was the guy who played "Charlie" the cook from Wagon Train. My, how things have changed! Great show, guys!
The Munster house is still there…just painted a different color. I saw it today during the tram ride.
Yall making me super jealous, that 60th anniversary Tram ride really makes things a bit more special. I love Jaws so much and his lacking presence at Orlando is a bummer. Very cool vid guys!

I grew up during the 60’s and 70’s and the TV dinner was a very good representation of what we had back then. I’ll have to try one when I visit Universal again.😉
You know what I love the most about you guys? Y’all just seem to have so much fun together and that joy is infectious.
Can we just talk about how the Mummy ride in Hollywood is so much different from the one in Orlando? The one in Hollywood is in the old ET ride building. So they’re limited on space. So it’s short, and it goes backwards. Also the WaterWorld show is still the best thing there. Besides the backlot tour, Hogsmead, and an updated more awesome version of Jurassic Adventure ride. I still haven’t seen Super Nintendo world, or what the hillside looks like in person with the new FF coaster coming in. Just interesting to me how they don’t have any space in Hollywood, so it’s all built on the side of a hill, and the Minion land there is on top of one of the parking structures. If you get the chance stay at the universal Sheraton and ask for a round suite overlooking the park. -it’s amazing! Best views ever. You can look straight down into Simpsons land and Hogwarts castle.
We’ve gotten a similar view from the Hilton that’s right next door! Every time we visit USH all we can think is “same, same but different” lol it’s fun to experience both parks and compare them!

Dr. Seuss Style: Who knew the Pugh Two were Hollywood Bound - but the parks surprised them when their systems were down! The 'glam tram' name - that's pretty neat - but going through hill valley CAN'T BE BEAT!! I can't imaging a shark that is bigger than Bruce, watch out for Dracula...he's on the loose! The donut so dry, had those white crunchy things...eww - but mashing poor Anna, glad she didn't spew! Did Tyler do the same with your wedding cake? If he did, I'm surprised he didn't end up in the lake :) Anna kicked butt in her Mario hat - with her new found momentum, watch out Men in Black! The movie cookie was not a total loss....because it totally looked like Tyler had on lip gloss :) Well that's all from Maine, thanks for sharing what you saw....cause it's extremely unlikely that I'll go to California!!

Thank you so much for sharing your time at the 60th celebration. I really want to go but unless something changes soon I won't be able to. This year has been a struggle financially because my husband was laid off. But I'm glad I can live vicariously through you guys. Your the best!

I am not nearly old enough to have seen these cartoons when they first aired but my dad loved them as a kid and introduced them to me when I was young.

The best theme park chicken you can get is in SoCal. Over at Knott's Berry, they have "world famous" fried chicken. But for me, the best chicken is at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland. Really good.

I haven’t been to universal Orlando in about 20yrs but was in Hollywood last year. could you tell me if the rides that are the same name in both Orlando and Hollywood are they the same ? I’m hoping that makes sense
My vacation is from the 11th till the 15th and I’m hoping it will be too busy but we have express passes so all I am hoping for us at the parks will be open till nine or 10 because on the website it says 7 PM

I rode that tour in 1971! Not nearly as interesting then. The best part then was the flash flood that happened. I was bored...I was also very young, and wanted to go to Disneyland (which was the plan for the next day). We did see movie sets, and went through Lucille Ball's dressing room.

They actually don’t have any of their own hotels in Hollywood. We usually stay at the Hilton that’s right across the street!

I’m not sure if you guys will see you this, but what do you guys do about having a freestyle cup on you? Do you guys continuously buy a locker for it or do most of the roads come with a free locker for it? I would appreciate if anyone could answer this because last time I went I had a cup and I didn’t want to pay for a locker to put it in so I left it out and when I came back from my ride, somebody stole it, which is understandable I didn’t lock it up, but I would like to avoid that this year!
Most of the rides in Hollywood you can take it on, but those you can’t have free lockers!

Where do y’all stay when you visit Universal in Hollywood? Also do you fly into LAX? We are from Wisconsin and go to Florida a few times a year for universal/disney because flights are dirt cheap. Would love to save a little more and head to Cali in the near future!
We do fly into LAX! We usually stay at the Hilton that’s right across the street, too. It’s super convenient!
