Tembeling Beach is a little hideaway bay at the end of a crazy motorbike ride down through the forest. Along the way you will pass by the Tembeling natural pools. If you are looking for something a little off the beaten path and away from the tourist hot spots you may enjoy the adventure of Tembeling Beach, natural pools and forest.
On the southeast coast of Nusa Penida, Peguyangan Waterfall sits at the bottom of some pretty epic cliffs. It’s one of the less publicized things to do on Nusa Penida but one of my personal favorite. An iconic blue stairway leads you down a cliffside pathway to a sacred water temple, a pilgrimage site for locals. Like most hikes in Nusa Penida, the trek down to Peguyangan Waterfall starts from the top of a big limestone cliff on the coast. It’s not too tough going down, and only takes about 30 minutes, but the climb back to the top is steep and strenuous. You’ll climb down a bright blue stairway until you reach an old Hindu temple at the bottom of the cliffs.
