  • The Litheli 40v cordless chainsaw is a powerhouse cutting machine. I took this saw out with a full battery and made several cuts and only drained the battery to 1/2. It has the power to cut through medium sized trees with a 14" bar. The chain and bar are both oregon.

      Thats great! I have not used that one but this one does work well. These cordless saws are nice to have in a vehicle with no gas smell.

    I own two of them. First one started to stall, I complained to company, they sent me a new one. Wow!

    Electric chain saws have come of age. I have the Ryobi 14" model. Work the heck out of it. Just had to replace the chain, I use it that much.
    I like it a lot because I can keep it in the cab of my tractor, no gas fumes. When I'm out plowing snow, never know when you're going to come across a downed branch or tree.
    What I need is a 20" bar model, to replace my gas saw. Sometimes I get larger trees down across the fire roads in the area and really need a longer bar.

      Yes they are really handy to have. I can see tractors and trucks being great places to store a saw without fuel. My favorite part is that it has no restart every time you want to stop and drag limbs.

      @@LandtoHouse I got tired of pulling that dang rope getting the saw started/restarted. My very first chainsaw, a 1984 Echo 20" has probably been started for the last time because of the Ryobi. I am able to cut through 16" black oak trees like butter with a sharp chain.

    I've been using a Ryobi electric chainsaw for years. Love it for small jobs. If you are planning on cutting all day you better take out a second mortgage to pay for the batteries you will need to keep it running.

      The saw is ideal for cutting a tree down on the trail or keeping in your car to cut down stuff that falls over the road. I think I'm going to use it to trim some stuff under our Powerline next week.

      @@LandtoHouse I read some reviews on that link. Apparently this brand is similar (uses same batteries) as the Harbor Freight 40v electric yard tools.

    Wow that is considerably cheaper than even a bare tool chainsaw from my preferred brand of Makita. It looks like they make other yard tools too. How is the fit and finish? Does it feel pleasant to use? Is it stiff enough to feel durable and trustworthy?

    • @LandtoHouse
      @LandtoHouse  4 роки тому +1

      The batteries are interchangeable with their other yard tools. Which is really nice. When you pick this up it's surprisingly heavy in a good way. It looks and feels like a gas-powered chainsaw. Nothing about it makes me think that it wont be durable.

    Love the videos, even your product reviews LOL.
    Does it use a 3/8, 3/8LP, or .325 chain?
    I would have liked to see a lot more upcuts to see how the chain tension stays put and not work loose the way the other battery chainsaw did.

    Stay away I got one my first useage I got 70 cuts with it before it died day two I only got 35 cuts it is dead within 10 mins. And it is super heavy for what it is for the money you can get a gas powered husqvarna or a stihl that will last you a life time. Why wouldn't you get one of the best brands out there instead of this for even cheaper than this?
