Nick I love these videos of your trips to Dartmouth, Salcombe etc. When I order my new Sunseeker (or Princess) I think I'll fly to England to take delivery and do the south coast tour in your wake. What a beautiful area you live in. Love it.
Life on the water is just a much freer life. A few simple, respectable rules to follow but folks really do just live happier and freer. I love this weekend aboard videos. Such a lovely video. Please keep enjoying life as beautiful as you are, you and yours truly are living as you should. Cheers.
Salcombe is what I would entirely want to avoid if I had a boat! Far, far too busy for my liking! I want peace and quiet! Loving more of a vlog style in these videos Nick! Looking forward to seeing more like this, as well as those breathtaking super yachts!
Yesterdays video bought back fond memories of holidays, and then living in the South West. This video makes me want to persuade my husband to move there and buy a boat. Start Point is so lovely. Used to go there at night and find a comfy spot to sit and watch the goings on. Just beautiful.
02:25 ~ LoLoL!!! Not sleeping now she's not.... I started laughing the moment it started to fall, given that you were trying to be soooo quiet. 😁 Church Mouse you are not, Captain, LoL! 18:33 ~ that Sir... was a "pretty" good SAVE !!! 20:17 ~ wait, noooooooo I wasn't done... I need the ending! I hope it posts soon, haha... Thanks again to you both for sharing your lives and your smiles. 😀
I'm so jealous right now, I mean seriously I could taste the seaweed and salt in the air. Loved every minute up to salcombe, then I wanted to run from the boat to have a look around the town, but too crazy for me....Thank you Nick
Salcombe is one of the most beautiful harbours in the UK. The headland from Bolt Head to Bolt Tail is breath taking. Of course it is not always this busy, but good weather is rare in these parts and people make the most of it! Salcombe has a high percentage of holiday / second homes and these people want to enjoy the water also. Its the usual story that a few badly operated boats give the rest a bad name! Lovely video Nick and Marianne.
So, yes the Harbour Master came out to see you and your friends. That harbour area is crowded busy. You had to park you and your friends yacht/boat together instead of going up to the dock area. Wow. It looks good for your Friday lunch time. Great.
Really enjoyed your video! We love the water. The Gulf of Mexico is five hours south of our mountain home. Thanks for sharing! Interesting to see a weekend getaway on your side of the pond.
Love the way you romanticly woke up Marianne. Let the gopro fall down the steps into the cabin. Lol What a busy crazy harbor. Was just waiting to see some boats/ribs crash into one another. Nice video. Thankyou
I love that you show the communication and with the harbor masters. Useful stuff. Gorgeous scenery. Reminds just a but of where my father grew up in Italy.
Flipin' eck.....That Salcombe harbour is a lively place. It's a bit busier than the Trent & Mersey canal in Cheshire.....4 mph is quick enough for me !! Looked like you guys had a lovely weekend....A great vlog as usual. Regards Steve
Here is hoping for a part 3 :D Nick, please make this an ongoing thing! Because honestly as someone stuck at home working alone all day these sort of videos just brighten my heart and inspire me to get out on the water! :)
Interesting part 2 Nick. Salcombe was chaos on the water! It looked like the scene from Jaws where every man and his dog is on their boat trying to catch the Great White Shark lol. 😂 👍😎
Hi Nick and Marianne. The trip looked amazing, great weather, good fun, relaxation. Any boating is good. The chaos near the end almost had a collision, pure madness. No rules of the road or competent seamanship. So happy to see you out on the water. Carry on Skipper. 🛥👨✈️😎
Aquaholic is the best advert for Brixham Devon and cornwall and area , some of the places visited a so beautiful. Aquaholic very fond of fish and chips !
Great videos thank you Nick .These show that you don't have to have a sunseeker or a princess yacht to have a great weekend on the water and that boating isn't just for millionaires . Living overseas but seeing the lovely English south coast makes me a little homesick although the water here is a lot warmer ! cheers from the west indies
Classic when camera dropped kept it real by leaving it in, tactical even to wake a sleepy head. Also near the end was just a matter of time with a near collision 'dingy right ahead😠' Beautiful day could have horribly wrong, but hey your weekend looked superb and nice video content Nick.👌👍 hope this w/end much of the same😆
I came home from work a little depressed, had it confirmed that I am losing £20K of my annual wage, 5 minutes into your film I was there with you, not a care in the world, thank you.
Hahaha. The church bell was nice. Yes, having to go to the Marine Club House for a shower and morning coffee. Nice. Aw oh! Camera fell!!! I laughed, the was cute!!! She was awakened! Haha! That looks so nice to begin your weekend. It is 10:45am for me and it is afternoon for you two now. But please I hope it continues to be sunny Friday for you.
Hi Nick, don't really. know if you will get to read this, man I just can't tell you with words the impact that you have make on me :) discovered your channel maybe 6 months back I would say, haven't give a damm about boats before, never been interested, never have any will to do anything with boating since my life turns around aircrafts and aviation, and guess what, here I am seated in front of tv watching a video of a man from England talking so enthusiasticly about boats and boating that I had to watch another one, and another one, and another one.... and you know? being an aviator for a long time I am about to seat my Skipper ( I think it is called like this in English ) exam. Can you believe it? and I can say, all this interest on boats and boating and " things like that" begin watching accidentally one of your videos, what can I say... Just Thank you! hope you read this as the only way I have to say thank you for making me first of all a fan and admirer of your videos and second for making me also aquaholic!! greetings to you and to Marianne!!
Awesome video! Gotta say, crab with dill and lemon mayonnaise or dressing sounds classy and probably is delicious! Well it is delicious but marmite and cheddar cheese sandwiches! Now that is just pure class!
You mean those goofs in the rib? Who against all rules crossed in front of a sailboat they had on their right side? If anyone was standing when he accelerated, they would have gone swimming
Thank you a lovely tour about the areas.'For love love of you both, and the rest of us too';Please run a safety line up each side of your ship and clasp a carabiner to your vests.I wouldn't go out as 1 person,2,or 5 without clipping on to dock or set sail, let alone try to set anchor on open water. If anyone fell and was injured it would be almost impossible to pull back aboard, let alone find in 1 foot swells.I lost my best friend to falling overboard, even with a vest on.TY.
In fairness, it is grey and drab here a lot of the time, it's because of our geographical location, we are the first land after the Atlantic so we get rains as the weather hits land. When we have good weather, we have really good weather
Yep. I owe some Brits an apology over this. When I got to go to Australia on business, I razzed them about how they should have left the convicts in England and moved the upstanding citizens to Oz. My bad... Of course, it was merely a joke, and Australia was a *very* different place then.
In all fairness we have 1 week a year where temperatures go into the high 20's and the entire country goes into a meltdown. This was during that week hahahaha.
Another awesome video , thanks! Question, do you use the boat over winter? Or is this more of a summer time hobby? Is there any good resources where I can learn about boating? Thanks 🙏
I got to go on a boat when I was 16,to babysit,my bosses niece and nephew, and it's never left me,so glad I have a husband that, used to have boating holidays, as a child on the broads,we will get a boat,in the near future,I love watching you and marianne,on your boat, that will be us ha ha xx
The next time you take your beautiful 'yacht' out would love to see how you maneuver it when docking. Even on your next yacht video would love to see how the IPS drives actually function.
Cheese and marmite rocks, but I could also go for that crab sandwich. Do you cater??? I almost was hoping for that rib to go under, I guess there are all kinds everywhere. Looked like a fantastic day. You still got you morning walk in just going for that shower.
Thanks for inviting us on the trip! Salcombe is a total free for all, that dingy cutting in front of the sailboat.....
Our pleasure!
So nice you had good weather out there.
Nick I love these videos of your trips to Dartmouth, Salcombe etc.
When I order my new Sunseeker (or Princess) I think I'll fly to England to take delivery and do the south coast tour in your wake. What a beautiful area you live in. Love it.
Good plan!
Spent many an hour around Salcombe in a 14ft Zodiac with a 15hp Johnson. Happy times. Lovely to follow your trip!
Wonderfull! Simply wonderful!
Glad you like it!

We'll try! :)
Appears to have been a good weekend for it! THANKS for a look at marina living and pontoon procedures.
Always so noisy when you try and be quiet as somebody sleeps 😂 great video Nick!
Thanks! 😃
My favourite part of waking in new marina is to sit on deck with a coffee in my PJ's and scare the local fauna ;)
You go girl
Another outstanding video.. 🤗
Thanks for taking us with you onboard the Smuggler's Blues and sharing your humor and knowledge. Keep up the videos and enjoy!
Thanks, will do!
Salcombe is what I would entirely want to avoid if I had a boat! Far, far too busy for my liking! I want peace and quiet!
Loving more of a vlog style in these videos Nick! Looking forward to seeing more like this, as well as those breathtaking super yachts!
Great videos Nick & Marianne on parts 1 & 2, I was so glad to see that “Maggie” got plenty of air time, she is special you know....lol
Absolutely!
Crab Sangas sound wonderful.....
Yesterdays video bought back fond memories of holidays, and then living in the South West. This video makes me want to persuade my husband to move there and buy a boat.

Lovely spot salcombe just have to watch the sandbar coming in! The salcombe small boats fishing festival is great fun!
great week end on the boat, weather looked great
LOL at 2:24 Marian WAS fast asleep. As ever, thanks for sharing. What a wonderful place to be.

Thanks for sharing guys, loved your weekend!
That was the busiest harbour I have ever seen, almost as bad as the start of the Sydney to Hobart race.
Part 3. Can’t wait. That was a great video, am using and light hearted. Just great.
Well that chaos is calm compared to boating here in Florida with added fun of folks who rent pontoons for a day. Florida boating can get pretty crazy.
Fantastic. Stunning part of are country. And your boat is fantastic.
Many thanks!
I'm so jealous right now, I mean seriously I could taste the seaweed and salt in the air. Loved every minute up to salcombe, then I wanted to run from the boat to have a look around the town, but too crazy for me....Thank you Nick
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great weather and a perfect sea, a weekend to remember 😁 thanks for sharing it and looking forward to Pt.3
Glad you enjoyed it
Last minute or two, absolute chaos 😮🤪😮

Thanks Nick. Needed cheering up this morning and you waking up your good lady by dropping the camera had me laughing

Where you stopped for lunch reminded me of the chaotic harbour scene in Jaws 😂
Flipin' eck.....That Salcombe harbour is a lively place.

Very cool, Nick! Enjoy! You deserve it!
Thanks! Will do!
Start Bay is beautiful. Love it👍
Thoroughly enjoyed both parts, thanks. Salcombe was really quiet when I was there last. If it’s always manic like you got here, I was mighty lucky.
So great to see some activity after lockdown, very jealous of you guys !
Another great insight into your boating weekends, Marvelous. Chaos in the harbour!!! I bet there is a lot of shouting and swearing going!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice video and yet again what a beautiful day and hope you enjoyed to time on the water lovely stuff
Aquadogems in that harbor, thanks for another fun vid.
Check the engine, yep, it's still there. Thanks once again for the day out. 👌

Really enjoying these, it brings boating to life.
It seemed busier there than it would be in a large city at rush hour LOL.
It's nice to spend a night onboard.. And then, meet friends for a nice cup of tea!! :-D.. Fantastic..
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Good timing, I just finished watching part one.
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@AQUAHOLIC I did, and it will be completely blamed on you when I buy my own boat in a few years. My wife might contact you for a stern word or two.
So enjoyable, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for visiting
I am surprised that harbor was so busy. Here in America at least in Florida I have not seen one that busy locally. Thank you for all your videos.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice nick looks like some good scenery round yalls parts...seems like y’all had a good time thanks fella
When the camera fell I tried to stop myself falling --- great video :)
Real rush-hour aquaholic style :) :) :)
I came home from work a little depressed, had it confirmed that I am losing £20K of my annual wage, 5 minutes into your film I was there with you, not a care in the world, thank you.
I'm sorry to hear that - hope things improve soon and glad it helped

Truly wonderful series - a lovely and very welcome escape from the Orwellian dystopia unfolding outside my front door :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video yet again... I live in Yorkshire (gods own county) and we've visited Torquay a few times .. I'd give yorkshire up anytime for Devon..

That was a crazy amount of traffic right there! And what's up with that near miss too! Where did these people learn how to drive? 😨😨
You mean those goofs in the rib? Who against all rules crossed in front of a sailboat they had on their right side? If anyone was standing when he accelerated, they would have gone swimming
The sailing boat wasn’t under sail but still stupid
@@roberthennel Or a hull-loss incident!
@@benbencarter5788 But you still must give way to vessels on your right.
Super guys. I always find your footage so relaxing, and this one was on par until you entered that manic harbour. Looking forward to more🤘🏻🤘🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
Wasn’t planning on taking my lunch break just yet, but I sure as hell am now 😆 Thanks for the back to back upload Nick!
Hope you enjoy!
I love you guys, you’re the best!!!
You're veery kind :)
I really appreciate the gentle and fun loving nature that you both have. The world needs more of this.
Hi Nick really enjoyed your second weekend video nice one.
Not gonna lie...I'm more than a little jealous, Nick!!
Huge Marina!

I am loving this channel.
Whoever said England was grey and drab needs to watch this.
No kidding! I was just thinking the same, I mean I know it's an island, but I never thought of it as a beautiful boater's paradise!
In fairness, it is grey and drab here a lot of the time, it's because of our geographical location, we are the first land after the Atlantic so we get rains as the weather hits land. When we have good weather, we have really good weather

I take the boat ashore Oct to March. Try the RYA web site. 🙂
That harbour is chaos!!
I love how the British will stop everything to enjoy a cup of tea. I don't get it, but I love it!
Make it a cream tea and we will be there all week add a fresh crab sandwich it,s a two week holiday L O L

Chaotic harbor!!!! Great day!
Thats just me making a fuss, carry on with the sleeping 🤣
I heard about Mic drops, but this is the first camera-drop I've seen 😋😋😋
Noooo it ended too soon... Haha dang, awesome
Part 3 coming!
