Part 4 of 4: The First Month || 5th Grade Planning

Since we have new curricula this year, I am layering the subjects so that, by the 4th week, we are fully into homeschool and all the new subjects are integrated into our routine. Also, I show our planners for the year... I've been waffling over what to use and finally -- happily -- made a decision.

Great video! I never thought of making my own planner cover. I use an old Erin condren folio system (travelers notebook style) and I don’t love my cover anymore. Great idea!

I'm glad you liked it, thanks! And I found making my own was more fun than buying one someone else made. It's why I was messing around with Canva and trying to design one. A few things I bought -- a leather punch set from Michaels. My raw leather came from there and Morgan chose hers on Amazon. The 2mm elastic came from Amazon, too. And I needed a box cutter. I'm making some of our own little book inserts with a long stapler as well, but I really like the traveler's company brand inserts so I bought those.
