I saw him with a girlfriend in Vancouver in 2010 and Chris was so good it was ridiculous . His voice, band, clothes, set list, in between songs banter, everything was fantastic. Anybody that knocks him is some kind of asshole, music wise.
Every singer creates their own signature, or aura.......look at Lady GaGaGag and those types. He is proud to be retro and not a damned thing wrong with that. He is timeless.
Having stood in THAT very studio myself, holding the microphone used by the artists mentioned including "The KING", "The Killer", "The Man in Black, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and list goes on and on. An INTENSE feeling of humility comes all over you. You are standing in the footsteps of greatness. Thanks SAM!!!

Anyone doing 10 minutes of research can realize that Chris Isaak has an amazing live performance. That being said, it's very likely that the shows producers required him to lip synch it. This wouldn't be the first time this has happened, Nirvana comes to mind amongst many others.

Isaak's voice is a mix of Cash and Orbison. His album "Forever Blue" is a must own.
Yeah, can't argue with you on that although I think "Baja Sessions" is my favorite album. You really can't go wrong with either.
