    Then Šămeka is proper to ask question whereas Šimka is proper make affirmations ?

      No, the difference is just the placement in the sentence. The normal form is shimkhá but if the word comes at the end of a chunk of text where a "pausal form" would occur (marking a small break, kind of like punctuation), then the accent will change to the second-to-last syllable and the shewa will lengthen and we will get shemékha.

      Did you start with Lesson 1? This course teaches Biblical Hebrew little by little through listening and reading. Each lesson builds off the preceding lesson. If you work through Lessons 1-98, you should be able to understand most of Lesson 98b.
