Train is the way to go IMHO. Acts a a power conduit air supply and excavator. Also you dont lose your way and its super easy to get back to the start. When i do my playthroughs i basically dont bother with the other vehicles until i have the large rover.
For your established routes definitely, but when you need soil for your scrap farm the large rover is the way to go. And automation in this game is incredibly straight forward, arms move things, and you can set things to move when full or empty, compared to something like oxygen not included it's a 1 out of 10
@@gamesforlife36 The hoverboard is a beast. Try how big stuff you can hold while riding and you'll know what I mean. I unlocked the VTOL recently and it has been very nice for me for searching for mission specific items or exo caches. I put a medium silo and a medium canister of Hydrazine on it and can go "forever".
Which of these vehicles do you use the most in Astroneer? P.S.: If you're a beginner and want a ton more tutorials, then check out this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL1_QN2e4gB8dHdKpg6QxTQDqkMcZ_5FND.html&si=oe_7YTIvH2f7IIav
Just a correction the buggy doesn't consume more power than the tractor, but I can't hold anything, so just explore and moving around, so yeah, and you can't have any trailers in it
Hey, how is your suspension working SO well? Mine is rigid and almost NEVER gives. is it graphics or a setting/bug? ALL your vehicles have GREAT suspension...
@@gamesforlife36 I would assume so as well. mine is maxed graphics. Ill do some testing, Thanks! (I thought graphics because I also played scrap engineers and settings can actually change your suspension.)
@@HobbitGaming That would be interesting! I've done sort of a speed-test in the racetrack and off-road track videos. But those weren't a straight line to test top speed.
I mostly use the train - even though I don't know how to use automation.
I love trains in Astroneer! They are efficient!

Its funny, medium rover and medium shuttle are both useless, it's way easier and more efficient to just skip right to large shuttle and rover
Nice video. But.....where is the VTOL and also the hoverboard. Both of them are vehicles too😅
Yup, I don't have them unlocked...
@@gamesforlife36 The hoverboard is a GAME CHANGER. Don;t bother with the VTOL, I've not had any luck piloting it easily.
@@Barackrifle I'll make sure to get both of them and I'll probably do some videos on those as well. Would you like to see that?

@@bunker1213 I'll unlock it and do a video on that!
You should do a video on your initial and end game load outs for things you take to another planet to start a base
That's a cool idea! I will definitely do that!

Yeah. I think the rover is definitely better for exploring. And the tractor is for moving stuff inside a large base.
@@gamesforlife36 yeah but ngl at first the hoverboard same's more of a toy for me but damn it gamechanging
@@An_M4A3 Yeah, the hoverboard is both fun to use and extremely helpful!

Maybe it's something about the graphic setings🤷♂️
I don't have all the setings maxed out, since my PC wouldn't be able to handle that...
