You can’t air these trucks with coil springs in the rear. Unless you want to do a full on air ride. Then you’re talking $$$$$
@@MrKThomas1976 yes you can. They're called air helpers, not as good as full on bags, but they expand inside the coil. I have them in mine and it stiffened up the ride and made towing feel 10x better.
On the ram 2500 with springs you cannot put a big helper springs I have checked with CJC OFFROAD because I’m getting a Carli suspension and I tow , They told me The reason you cannot put air bag helpers on the 2500 with the springs in the back is because the airbags go where the springs are, you should be fine towing with them springs up to the rated wait I total 10,000 pounds and it barely squat it’s still not even level is still high in the rear. But if it does squat too much they recommended putting timbrens, and I could take them in and out in about 15 minutes with a few bolts. I have a big helpers on my other Ram with the springs and I agree they really do help . And the ones you’re talking about are really not good for carrying too much weight I think 1500 lb where is the airbag helpers that I have from a ride or 5000lb. But I’m more concerned about right quality mattress is stiff enough as it is, hence going with Carli suspension. But that’s just my two cents worth, didn’t come here to offend anybody, I was just stating some fax as was you.
@@MrKThomas1976 I have hd2500 bags which would be a max of 5000Ib tongue weight. So that would be good for anything under a 20k pound trailer....but I agree with you If I had the money I'd get the Carli kit with full on bags.

Color matched power boards should always be the move. Hopefully that’s what your referring to.
Also the painted mirror arms with the chrome mirror housing would compliment them very nicely.

If you do the mirrors half chrome and half color match, you should do the same with the door handles(chrome lock and color matched handles), that would look cool, with chrome shocks and color matched springs

Chrome mirrors, handles and rims but put a little yellow in the rims as well. Yellow and chrome headlights, Yellow and chrome tail lights! Also, do some chrome n yellow suspension parts too! For hauling put lift with air ride to keep it low but raise when needed. ....No Stock Ryan!!! 😉

I just took the steps off my F150 literally 15 minutes ago and I struggled taking them off because it looked so good but all my buddys love the truck without the steps!!! It made me laugh that I come inside to try and catch up on the series and the episode I watch you are taking yours off too haha

You can always get some chrome sill covers and chrome door handles to add the little touch you're looking for.
Any level lift or kelderman lift would look pretty sweet on that banana ram.

Helper bags will be great. It would still look stockish but at the same time it will lift about 3 inches and it will help with the towing of a gooseneck.
I think a flatbed on the back of this thing would be sweet. But if you want that own look that obviously not what you want. But I would definitely put bags on it for towing. It makes the ride a whole lot smoother

Iv got the same body 3500 Crew cab long bed 4x4. I just did a leveling kit, 35s, and steps and it looks great! Still practical for towing

You should try and make it look like a Tonka toy truck
I think leveling it and putting air bags in the back with some rims would make a nice tow rig then the paint match and interior stuff
The 3 in Kelderman kit seems really cool and it would be perfect for towing and maybe some limited wheels on 37s

Chrome rims, paint match mirrors, chrome handles, 35s on level up front with air lift bags in rear. Tasteful mods to a stock truck and you can focus more on power upgrades for towing and comfort inside. Interested to see what tuning you choose.

Definitely paint matched mirrors, and door handles as well, new head lights, tail lights, a nice leveling kit, shocks, new wheels, tires, led 3rd brake light , some amp research powder coated running boards, some powder coated suspension parts OEM plus style.

Do a oem plus build full on with just a high quality level system carli 😉 you can fit at least 35”s or 37” with some trimming

When you get done with this build you should give the Banana ram to Katie and you keep the OG ram
You should do longhorn seats. It would look real good with the dark tan leather and the yellow

I recommend do it right the first time and get your CDL and get the right trailer for it. Also, I do believe if you tow anything for your business, you have to have your CDL. I’d contact Jack from Enthuziast about that and ask him. But that’s my opinion which is to do it right
You can do it! Once you get away from stock you don't go back, it's addictive because possibilities are unlimited as you've shown us. I'm sure you'll nail it with a good compromise.
It would be cool to see some budget mods on it👍 see how much you can do for relatively cheap.

Add the yellow as an accent color to the rims. Also, one of my favorite channels on here.
I’d like to see you colour match the headlights, tail lights and front bumper and break callipers. I’d also get rid of the grandad step running boards entirely. Give the truck a much cleaner look. Then I’d focus on improving power output. Possibly procharge it?

I put some running boards from tyger auto on my wife 2016 Ram 1500 Eco-Diesal and she loves them. They're a combo step/ rockslider and I could see you doing an ultimate work truck build with them on your truck.

You should try to maybe put wing doors on the yellow ram it may look weird at first but i think it’ll grow on you

I would put a leveling kit or a small lift on it and put some nice rims on there if your gonna use it for towing but if you not then go the other route
I have two recommendations for you. I saw somewhere on UA-cam that somebody did a 4th gen to 5th gen front end conversion. You may be able to do that unless you have other plans and also I like the Chrome but you should do a black two-tone and make it a bumble bee theme.

honestly i think you should go all the way and get the gooseneck with the CDL. just so you can tow/hawl more while still being legal

If it was my truck I'd probably do like a 4-in lift with rear airbag helpers with on-board air. And do a dually conversion

You gonna need some awesome cargo van build
Upgrade the internals to include heated seats and steering wheel. You just need the factory parts with the module's and can activate them with the Alfa OBD.
Mild kelderman air ride lift kit form and function as a tow rig. Also add a brow on windshield that says spool bus
Put a any level lift on it then you can ride high or ride low. Best of both worlds
interior LEDs were the first thing I had to do to my 2018 Ram too. Just couldn't stand the yellow light!

I've never seen someone do this to a ram before so why don't you try it. Go short and wide. Leveled with some wide wheels. I think it would look pretty clean

I think you are experiencing the situation where Having a sweet lifted truck is nice but can kinda just get annoying and then driving a regular car or truck is refreshing every once and a while.
If you going to start towing a lot do it right the first time and get the right trailer and your cdl

For a workhorse, I'd do a Carli 3" Pintop with king coilover kit. 33's or 35's on nothing bigger than a 20" wheel, Paint match bumpers, alpharex lights, and call it a day! Stylish, but workhorse.
Make it a tow monster. Small lift. Reasonable tires. Body armor with winch. Led driving beams. Euro light package. Lots of sponsors could come on board. Rigid, ranch hand bumpers. Warn. Ect
Tow pig! Slap a leveling kit/small lift and just powder coat the suspension components silver and some clean wheels and your set!! I love it bro keep it up!
Leave it stock height or small lift, air bags in the rear, paint match the world, and throw on a fat set of wheels and tires 😎
