Thank you Felicity…I was profoundly affected when I first experienced this song too…I still am affected today even though I’ve watched them perform this so many times now. This song is originally an autobiographical song by Serge Lama and Alice Doha (composer) but this version Forestella chose is an homage to Lara Fabian (who made her cover of Lama’s song famous). Forestella based their version on her Montreal Concert version that she did…even using her feminine references even though this song was written by a man originally. Fun Fact: Forestella renamed this song ALONE WITH TEARS when they translated this song into Korean for their 2019 Mystique album, so heartbreakingly beautiful too though with different members singing certain parts, but this version you reacted to crept into my heart first as I saw this on Phantom Singer All Stars 2021 before I heard the album ….so it holds a special place ..❤

This is a famous French song, Je suis malade. (I'm sick) The original singer is Serge Lama. However, Forestella sang this song as an homage for Lara Fabian's version. It notes in the lyrics with terms in feminine form (orpheline, heureuse). But Serge Lama posted his praises about this stage on his official SNS. (Twitter, IG, FB).
Forestella released their Korean version of this song in their 3rd album: the Forestella. 눈물 속에 홀로 (Alone in Tears) has lyrics in Korean. Even the words in the lyrics were changed a lot from the original Je suis malade, you can feel the deep emotions and vibes of the original in it if you try to listen. One of the members of Forestella (Bae DooHoon) contributed in writing some lyrics in Korean as well.

해체 아니고 베이스 파트 고우림이 군대에 가서 나머지 3명의 활동이 많이 줄어들었지만 고우림이 복귀하면 예전처럼 다시 활발하게 활동할 겁니다
