Actually USA reading about history and geography is very stunning how about travel there . As I read there are gemstones only found in USA such as red beryls of Utah , benitoite from California . When you mentioned Maryland as I read In year 2023 ranked 35 th among 50 states for total mineral production. Most common minerals in USA quartz , mica , feldspars . Less common minerals such as garnet , siderite . Arizona is rich in minerals .
