Honestly, this game has one of (if not THE) best cast of characters in all of video games. The character's amount of depth, their relationships with eachother, it's all done so god damn well. And the fact that you can go on dates with them is absolutely FUCKING GENIUS. Seriously, tobyfox is a god of character design.

Well technically speaking, a date is any social engagement, romantic or not. It has more than a subtle implication of infatuation, but really it is more generic than that. More simply put hangout and date are interchangeable.

This cooking lesson is so relatable. I always used to cook with my dad whenever my mom went out or had something to do. My dad would make me do the stuff sometimes and he would instruct me to do it harder or softer. Its nice..
I loved the whole scene in the house, I was smirking when Papyrus called Undyne out. I was laughing when the spear went into the table, still smiling when the music started, "Oh shit, she's gonna kick my ass.", jumps over and one hand picks up Frisk... at that point I couldn't stop from all out laughter, and it just kept going all through the rest of the date, been way too long since a game literally made me laugh my ass off and have to wipe a tear away to try "get serious" again to the game.
If you examine the piano a second time, she'll say "I'm not gonna serenade you." And if you try her room door again, she'll say you're being kinda creepy.

I had to go back to this scene, but not for Papyrus jumping out of the window, or the silliness of the spear, I had to come back because of 6:36. I feel like Memory is one of Undertale's most underrated songs. It brings the correct mood and evokes the right emotion everytime its used. And with Undyne it's no different. The sudden change in music and the backstory given lets us experience the humanity in her. This scene is great because of all of these little details that lets us experience so many emotions.

This cooking lesson is so relatable. I always used to cook with my dad whenever my mom went out or had something to do. My dad would make me do the stuff sometimes and he would instruct me to do it harder or softer. Its nice..
I loved the whole scene in the house, I was smirking when Papyrus called Undyne out. I was laughing when the spear went into the table, still smiling when the music started, "Oh shit, she's gonna kick my ass.", jumps over and one hand picks up Frisk... at that point I couldn't stop from all out laughter, and it just kept going all through the rest of the date, been way too long since a game literally made me laugh my ass off and have to wipe a tear away to try "get serious" again to the game.
If you examine the piano a second time, she'll say "I'm not gonna serenade you."
And if you try her room door again, she'll say you're being kinda creepy.

I had to go back to this scene, but not for Papyrus jumping out of the window, or the silliness of the spear, I had to come back because of 6:36.
I feel like Memory is one of Undertale's most underrated songs. It brings the correct mood and evokes the right emotion everytime its used.
And with Undyne it's no different. The sudden change in music and the backstory given lets us experience the humanity in her.
This scene is great because of all of these little details that lets us experience so many emotions.
