The American Garage Record Player Motor Repair

As the Voice of Music record player restoration continues, at this point the record changer repair has been accomplished, but the motor is not working right. The main problem is that the motor mounts turned to goo, and the speed selector cannot select the correct speed. In this episode I will install new motor mounts and service the motor.

So you did the motor now where is the video of you putting back into the cabinet? But hey no video of you putting it back into cabinet and showing it working?

Thanks for pointing that out! I did run the record player at the end of the amplifier repair- but there were also other problems that I did not address in the video- namely the pops and crackle sounds. Those turned out to be the transformer failing, which I had to replace. When I redo the woodwork on the cabinet, I will have to completely disassemble and reassemble, so I will make sure I get it in there. Also, I did not have all the video on the Musical Instruments playlist, which I have updated. So, check out any you missed there-
